It doesn’t seem to be shooting at the animal, which I think would be more effective. It looks like it’s shooting to the right of it and only the noise scares it off
I got one to keep cats from spraying my back door. I had a male cat being chased by other cats. It was hilarious and worked as long as it was set to on. Sometimes we forget and soak ourselves and others. Lol. I ended up moving and had to give him up. It was hard times.
Worth noting is there are no shrubs or low hanging limbs in this yard. My guess is that sprinklers reacts to limbs blowing in the wind and likely goes off with false alarms.
I wonder if its the same racoon or different ones? Too bad it doesn't shoot from the left to the right I wonder if it can be set that way? I bet a good soak will keep them from returning at least for that night anyway.

@@DOLfirst only when they get on the possum - they don't seek them out . They pretty much rub the ground when they walk and ticks can get on them easier - then it gets et , grin .
I could have solved this problem after the first waste of money … spraying device $$ , water $$ , hose busting $$, extra grass cutting (weekly) sad all of this is time you never get back… 1 good aim and all will be said and done
Is there any way to fill sprinkler with urine ? I even have some beechwood aged urine in a few 2 liter Pepsi bottles for special occasions.. Racoons are PERSISTENT !

Thats because its how he has the sprinkler adjusted.
Definitely should readjust spray towards left more to hit the animals in the face! 😂

That's a possum on some visits and a raccoon on others. Possum is after that bird feed no doubt, raccoon probably as well.

Not effective due to them keep coming back. Wack
