    I’m an all traditional guy when it comes to boots but I enjoy seeing what companies are doing.

    As a first time cowboy boot purchaser, I love this boot. I wore redwings 877 for the last twenty years. But now I just purchased 5 acres and I wanted to have a boot to work around the property. I chose this boot. I love them. I live in KC, we get every kind of weather. We’ll see how they hold up. My feet perspire just a little so I need airflow.

    I have 2 pairs....love them! One pair has the duratread and the other pair is the bantams. I wear short socks in them in the summer. They work!

    Good looking boot for a wide square toe, its tapered better than some others making it appear narrower. Nice tread for the winter, but man I'd need thick wool boot socks with those vent tec's or else I'd be shivering my timbers off. 😂

    These are actually some great winter boots, if you’re doing light stuff. I live in Georgia, where it gets roughly cold. They’re pretty all around good boot. All I gotta say is be careful with water around them. I accidentally took a step too deep into a creek with them, and my socks got soaked, but besides that their great boots.

    But if you live in Hot Texas it's great! LOL!

    One of the things i like about boots is the solid build of leather.
    I like and own Ariats, but Mesh venting seems like trying to fix an issue that either didnt really exist, if its hot enough im goimg to sweat with or without the venting. Or fixing a problem with something that'll create more of a problem.

    Whats your favorite cushioning from Ariat? I know they have a few different options.

  • @WesternWearEnthusiast
    @WesternWearEnthusiast 6 месяцев назад +1

    Ariat has always been a company that is willing to try new and different ideas for cowboy boots.
    Those boots are definitely not made for Canadian winters, that’s for sure.

  • @dustrabbit4761

    The ventek doesn’t make sense to me. Cold in winter when the Duratread makes sense, & if it’s really hot & dry in summer & you’re working outdoors where you need the Duratread, then the mesh doesn’t protect from dust, grime, thorns, maybe bugs.
    It’s combinations like this that make me wonder what the designers thought they’d be used for.
    I’d would like to have that Duratread Hybrid Rancher in the h2o for snow.
    It could appeal as a crossover style for bikers who might like the aggressive sole.

      As a bartender who wears boots, these are what I’ve been waiting for. I own a pair of older VentTEK boots but the tread is weak which is bad when considering spills or the kitchen. So this improved tread plus breathability is a dream come true

    I got a pair of the flag ones and they didn’t hold up with that well for me I wore them daily the bottom fell off and they got deep scratches easy I used the one year warranty got my money back and been using the real deal boot from ariat and it’s been the most durable boot I’ve ever had

    • @JPEBeard
      @JPEBeard 22 дня назад

      where do you find the real deal boot? I can't find it! Thanks

  • @WolfRanger2008

    A. I see nothing wrong with wearing ankle socks with boots. It's up to the wearer to decide what's best; it shouldn't be dictated bt tradition.
    B. I think if people have seasonal wardrobes for clothing, then the same can(not necessarily should)hold true for boots. And these boots seem better suited for warm to hot weather working environments. That said, there's a difference between dry cold and windy and/or wet cold. Certainly , if a cold air is blowing into already ventilated boots, there's going to be a problem. On the other hand. In a dry cold situation , example a warehouse, if the person is suitably attired they should work just fine.
    C. Really, there are countless variables, so none of this is written in stone.

    Idk what’s going on with Ariat and why it’s not talked about a lot but I just bought a pair to replace my 5 year old pair and the quality of materials, the fit, sole, and sizing has diminished greatly in the last few years.

    Actually, those are not cowboy boots, just work boots. Can’t ride horses using stirrups with that outsole.

      My size is a 12B. These don't come in a 12b so my usual size when cheating is a 11D. 10.5D is a half size lower than that

    Ariat is garbage. As is Justin, Tony lama, Dan post and double h. Anderson Bean are quality boots.

    • @robertburey4704
      @robertburey4704 6 месяцев назад

      I agree. But those lower end, lower cost, and less quality boots do have a place. I wouldn't want to wear my AB or Black Jack boots while splitting firewood. I also try to only buy hard leather insole and boots that are made in USA.

      @@robertburey4704 touche' my friend. I have a pair of double h for beaters. Built like tanks although they don't fit near as good as Beans.
