Long ago when I was writing my own Paper Mario styled game one of the partners was Ninjoe the Ninji, a obvious Naruto parody complete with headband and boisterous attitude something that made him a terrible ninja for being loud and obnoxious but joins Mario to save the Mushroom Kingdom from a Adult Bowser Jr. from the future His ability is to pull out a camouflage screen that turns Mario invisible and attacks with Star Toss and Concealment to avoid attacks pretty much the Bow or Vivian of the game

I know they're sticking with the newer design, but I like to think there are two different types of Ninjis, the black ones with buttons and no visible mouth and the purple ones with no buttons and a visible mouth. I'm sure they'd have no problem coexisting.

I find him just as cool as Pokeys, Bob-Ombs, Birdos, and Shy Guys.
Just to think how many things from doki doki panic became mainstates in regular Mario Games: Shy Guys, Ninjis, Birdo, Sniffits, Bob-Ombs, Mouser. And all thanks to the japanese versión of Super Mario Bros 2 being too hard for overseas

I love the Ninjis themselves, but fighting them in Sticker Star annoyed me to the point of actively avoiding them. If I saw a sticker I wanted or a tree with stuff in it or even a ? block that might even have something good and a Ninji was jumping next to it, I would often try to lure the Ninji away to avoid fighting it because these guys have a random chance of dodging your attacks and, just like the hammer bros, have 2 different attacks, both of which are timed differently, the stomp & the Ninji Star, and I guess I could be remembering it wrong, but I swear that their stance doesn't determine anything as I distinctly remember a Ninji that wasn't jumping turn into a star, one that was jumping then stomped me instead of going Star, and both managed to dodge. The only sticker type that was almost consistently good were the ice & fire flowers, but I think the game might've thought I was trying to break the RnG or something because I remember them even be able to dodge fire and ice flowers. I would call them the worst part of the game, but they're really just an annoyance that can be easily avoided, if they weren't optional, it would be a major problem, but it isn't... for them. (I think you all know what I'm talking about).

I always misread SMB2 Ninji’s Sprite as him having teeth but they changed his modern appearance to have buttons you button up on clothes.
