- Now under ROLAND's stewardship, V-MODA has made a pair of portable studio monitors. How do they fare?
Thanks to ROLAND for sending me a pair for review.
You can buy the V-MODA M200 on Amazon here: amzn.to/3neXohe (supports my channel).

I have been using Backblaze’s unlimited cloud backup to protect all my data - terabytes of it - for a flat monthly or yearly fee, for years. I highly recommend them as a backup solution.

Me, when you're talking about the build quality:
"Whoa, I like that."
Me, when you're talking about the sound:
"Eh, not for me."
Haha. Thanks for the review.
A reputation for a very strong robust build is a good way to distinguish yourself. I don't think any of my headphones would survive getting shoved in a bag with other gear.
this was the best review. thanks.
I don’t like the V-Moda sound but I can tell you that these things are absolutely indestructible. It’s fun bending them like a pretzel but the sound is just not for me although they’re infinitely better than the colored ear candy like BEATS, etc.
have you tried the M200?
Vmoda in my opinion makes the best music listening headphone. I’ve yet to find a pair of headphones I like more than my Vmoda crassfade wireless II’s for an all-around experience. Great deep tight bass, great mids and highs aren’t harsh. Although there are headphones way more balanced I found myself always picking up my Vmodas. I’m also a bass head to an extent and these headphones DELIVER bass with authority without the need for an EQ
Good review Amos. I`ll stick with my Sundara`s
I love your reviews
in order to listen to great quality music to hear all of what this headphone has to offer, do I need to use an external amp to connect it to the notebook, or it’s just plug in that it will do the trick?
The cliqfold on the M200 looks larger than the M100/CFW/CFW2
Saw your headphone reviews on head-fi. Wonder if you produce video reviews
@@DarkPa1adin lol :). I’m not brave enough to talk in front of cameras yet :).
The headphones of Vmoda are definitely outstanding but their cables which they give you with the pair of headphones and which you can buy separately, for example, a microphone cable, they twirl up in days and its a nightmare. At least they surely know what's good in music.
I have never had this issue. I've owned like 2 vmodas and 4 cables. All have held up way better than all of my other cables.
Are you wrapping your cables correctly between uses?
Would you recommend these for someone who needs headphones for casual music production? My two pairs of ATH-M50x headphones are falling apart and I'd like something high quality all around. I don't want casual listening headphones if I sacrifice the accuracy of my mixing, although I will also use them for casual listening.
My cousin uses V-Modas in the US Air Force, he's an air traffic controller.
These things are so uncomfortable I can't imagine wearing them for that long.
@@djsammyb1023 depends on the person. I can literally wear my Vmoda croassfade wireless II’s for hours on end and feel more comfortable with them than lots of other headphones because they fit my head really well
Only one gripe. The headphones ear cups are far too small... It's genuinely sore wearing these for extended periods because my ears are squishing against the headphone driver cover
Just want to ask a quick question, so I recently bought a pair of focal clear for myself. I have borrowed and compared it to my friends focal utopia. It turns out I prefer the clear better than the more expensive utopia. What are your thoughts on it? Thanks!
Whatever you prefer is whatever you prefer! It doesn't matter how good or expensive a pair of headphones is if you don't like them.
New subscriber here... will you do Grado reviews? 😁😂🤣
I don't have a plan to at the moment.
can it use stereo L&R cable? since it had 2 input?
I normal L/R cable wouldn't work, you'd need a custom one.
If you are a music producer/mixing engineer DON’T buy these!
I have had multiple headphones. I got the LP2 in 2016 and they still work perfectly (I had to change the ear pads)
BUT
As I entered in the music production world and visited incredible studios, I’ve become more picky with the flat and detailed sound. LP2 are incredibly dark and lack of highs and mids.
I normally use the Beyerdynamic DT990 pro and I wanted to try the M200.
I WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED with the M200. They are not studio headphones. Horrible.
They cost more than a double of dt990 pro and sound like a 45€ headphones. No joke.
For that price you can get Senheiser HD 600 or DT 1990 Pro
8:28 shots fired at DT 1990 pros (i dislike these)
Say studio monitoring headphones !
the qualitiy of vmoda headphones is really trash, they only have to fall down once and break into peaces. its a scam
Did you have that happen to you? Did you contact V-MODA if so? What was their response?
@@Currawong ofc i did, also via facebook. their support sucks, no answers, when the customer is not happy. again: the quality of the outer shells is ULTRA TRASH. they fell on a woddenfloor once and dont even survive that - AND THEY ADVERTISED IT AS A TNK COILD ROLL OVER IT. they dont survive falling down once.... this company is A CRIME
