Barou and Rin look at Isagi differently, Rin sees Isagi as minor obstacle while Barou sees Isagi as the greatest Competition. Someone who’s worthy to be stomped by “The King”. Barou even doesn’t like that his rival isn’t recognized by the rest of the world and makes sure to tell Isagi to stand out like he’s supposed to. Cuz if Isagi doesn’t come out on top it makes Barou look like he’s not that impressive cuz his ‘rival’ isn’t in the top. And Barou doesn’t care for Rin as a rival
