MyQ Garage Door Opener Will Not Open With Alexa!!!!!!

There are plenty of videos illustrating how to link MyQ to Alexa, however you still won't be able to Open your garage door with Alexa. Even with the two major third-party apps (IFTTT and SimpleCommands), I could not use Alexa to OPEN our garage door. All the claims that MyQ and Alexa can be linked is NOT completely true! You can close the door, BUT NOT OPEN!!! Aggravating!!! I came up with an idea that you might be able to use, so you will be able to close AND OPEN your garage door with Alexa! Give it a try, it works great!
