When the parents get too old to care for themselves and Denise doesn't help out, we'll see how long that "we only have one daughter" vow lasts.
The moment the parents are unable or unwilling to give her everything she wants, she will abandon them.
I would have mentioned that on the last phone call
" You have spoiled her so much she can barely make it in the real world, go ahead cut the rest of us off who are you going to be left with when you need help, that's right the person who only cares about herself good luck."
oh, is going to still last, because the moment they contact op or michelle they can say "ask denise for help, she is your only daughter" and be done with it.
nah, once one of the ''awful'' daughters has a kid they will be all over trying to crawl back into their lifes ''to make amends''
Gotta love that hypocrisy... so, the parents are allowed to have a favorite daughter, but OP is not allowed to have a favorite sister? Nah, that's not how it works.
OP can have favorite sister but not that one
Rules for thee but not for me
I was legit about to type that out. OP should just respond next time with " You y'all can have a favorite daughter but I can't have a favorite sister AH the hypocrisy"
"You're not allowed to pick favorites" - while they play favorites between their daughters. The hypocrisy.
Let me translate: "you aren't allowed to have a different favorite from us"
@@dylanbisson9780 bingo
My question is, if Denise is their "only daughter" then why tf didn't they pay for the wedding??? Why are they pressing the OP to pay for something that should've been their responsibility in the first place. Isn't it commonly understood that parents usually chip in first before anybody else does?
Denise really thought that being “nice” for a couple months would erase all the behavior she had over the years
Pretty much.
And probably thought that op couldn't put two and two together. Also, it's funny how she immediately cried to her parents. She didn't even bothered to keep up the charade and just throw it away at the first difficulty. This proves how spoiled she is.
the fact that she even thought to pretend to be nice means she is fully aware she is the problem.
Yeah she dumb.
First there was 'do it for Dan'. Now there's 'do it for Denise'.
Oh god....the way it ended for ol' Danny boy with the updates. I got a feeling this story will go far worse for the golden brat.
The do it for Dan story was so good, I loved the updates
It's obvious who is the golden child in this family... it's always the scapegoat child who's expected to "be the bigger person" and forgive everything.
As someone once answered me in a comment, "be the bigger person" is code for "lay flatter, doormat".
“you’re not invited to my wedding” is basically “you’re not invited to my birthday party” but adult version
But like 1 time thing if the marriage lasted
Why won’t the parents pay for Denise’s wedding then, Op isn’t obligated to pay for someone she had almost 0 communication with over the years.
because they dont wanna
I think that there will be an update in the next months where Denise is getting divorced and they will ask money to Op for lawyer fees.
I'll be the devils advocate here the reason why her parents don't wanna pay the venue because deep down they're agree that OP's words are true, or they just don't want Denise to hurt their retirement plan
A quote i heard from somewhere:
"Most people can comprehend a lie but the truth always hurts"
folks, remember, when you have multiple kids, dont have favorites and if you do,dont cry about it when your favourite boy or girl gets bullied for her shitty behaviour by her classmates and sisters.use braincells for one moment and you'll acknowledge that it isnt fair towards other people and being treated like shit is a gurantee
parents called furious, would cut off that call instantly !
Would've already had them blocked.
@@kumikor3392 OP could be attached to them at the beginning. She wasn't spoiled, but they seemed to raise them well, not counting the golden child (some parents are decent and just spoil their favourite, others have a scapegoat that they treat horribly no matter what, it seems like the first one). Even with sore topic/toxic relative, you can have semi normal relationship with them, when avoiding bringing up the problem. So blocking seems too drastic, at least straight away (and well, maybe she hopped she could explain it, after all sister could lied)
Is quiet around here.
If they want her to have a nice venue, then let them pay for it. None of them are entitled to OP's money.
I hate when one person ruins there relationship with somebody else, usually with like parents and there children I see, instead of telling the person who ruined it to apologize, they tell the victim that they need to be more mature and forgive, that’s as dumb as getting mad at somebody for divorcing there cheating SO.
Hahaha oh the hypocrisy from Op’s “parents” is just hilarious.
THEY have played favourites for years, oh but Op cant have a fav sister.
THEY bullied Op’s sister to invite Denise to her wedding, oh but Op and her sister aren’t invited to hers.
And THEY told Denise that Op paid for her sisters wedding as a gift but it’s now Op’s fault for not paying.
Ngl though i did laugh when they called OP the entitled/selfish one😂.
Right
Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to spend my money to make things fair. The parents are horrible. Not your mess.
Entitlement embodiment: Denise.
Enabling embodiment: OP's parents
at the end of the day this shows what happens when you dont teach your kid right form wrong Densie got away form everything and that make her into a bratty person is all thx to the Parents who didn't raise her right
She’s the favorite but they can’t pay for her venue instead???
8:21 if it's about the optics have the parents front the money and let OP give it.
If after the wedding she acts like a brat, then OP doesn't pay her parents back anything.
OP, my only advice right now is simple: keep your (good) sister close, and live your life the way you want it. The best revenge against your narcissistic sister and parents is to show their antics are not getting to you, cause nothing drives a narcissist crazier than a lack of control, hence them spewing all this bile against you behind your back. Plus, with how the parents enabled the entitled sister, I have a hunch it's only a matter of time before their "precious creation" would turn against them, like a lot of other entitled parents stories I have read elsewhere.
Idk how ppl even entertain these situations. Simple answer to shut everyone up: it’s MY money, I said NO, stay mad about it, idc
Finally, an OP with a spine and balls.
She is a woman? Wdym
The parents and other relatives who are demanding money could always pay for the venue.
Lol... It always shocks me that people don't call out parents on they bs the moment they out of parents house
the parents are the real problem here
Denise had a delusional expectation of OP paying for the wedding venue, and when OP didn’t give in, Denise and their parents tried to gaslight, guilt-trip, manipulate, and bully OP. It was never an “ask,” it was an expectation and a demand.
Denise was never “asking for help,” she was totally expecting her older sister to give her whatever she wanted. She really thought pretending to make up and start the path of reconciliation was enough to warrant forcing her older sister to shell out a sh*t ton of money for her wedding venue.
But hey. Still plenty of time for you to offer to pay for the honeymoon.
Maybe the annulment?
Just saying. There is never not an excuse to bug and borrow and bum off of you.
So basically the parents don’t want relatives or friends to know they raised a spoiled brat who alienated her older sisters.
They gonna come back when op or op sister start having kids
So why didn’t the parents just pay for it?
Life hack:
If you put your phone on airplane mode during the call it looks like the call dropped
Denise(in this story) = Demise
Was saying the marriage wont last a bit out of line yes ... was it deserved and provoked also yes
I was thinking Denise is probably going to cheat of her fiancé
It’s a wedding gift she doesn’t have to do the same for you sister or not different circumstances she’s right
When the OPs parents get old and are in need of care the spoil sister will be too busy to care for them.
Wow 7 minutes I think this is the earliest I’ve ever been
Do an update when, they get divorced. lol
Consumer demands cannot be easily met with great expectations. One must await further contemplation before reaching penultimate decision.
Did the marige last short???
Sometimes I believe all these stories are fake because how can someones family be some messed up
Because people are horrible, some far worse than others.
I had an abusive mother who was way worse than this, and I didnt wrote a post about it. Does it make it any less real?
The ex wife of my dad (she doesnt even deserve title of stepmom) literally once kicked me out for not saying hello and for not liking her food for which she stood "All day in the kitchen". That shit was a heat up package and it is a running joke around my fam that when someone doesnt like real food that we hit that person with that. Atleast dad has a kind of better life now but would have been better if he took his meds.
That's sadlky a believe that keeps abuse going. It's too messed up to be true, right? So someone has to by lying, or blowing it out of proportions, but they do tell the truth and suffer labeled as liars. It's hard to tell harsh truth from fake stories those days, even with awarness of the internet
The fun fact is that if op and Michelle have grandchildren, the parents won't ever meet them, especially when the spoiled brat leaves the parents alone and milks them dry (it'll most likely happen lol)
So let's see, how that "we only have one daughter" lasts XD
To the OP, hope i hope she'll ll bring more updates in the future. Because I wanna know if Denise got divorced and the OP's parents finally saw the entitled brat their daughter is.
"You can't pick favorites because that would be problematic." 🤨
I had two sisters and one tried to pull this crap on me. I am the middle daughter (and the favorite) and the youngest sister asked me to pay for her first car. Since our parents were retired now and she couldn't ask them to buy her one. When she asked I replied with who tf is this again and hung up. I straight up told her I don't like you why would I do anything for you. I was 30 and she was 27 at this time.
Guys I have a question
What game is the channel playing
I think it's Mine craft, but I might be wrong
You parents will be back when they get f-ed over or when they're old and need care. Until then live your best life with Michelle and hubby's
This comment is for golden children
If u let other spoil you so much u will end up like a loser who relyes on their parents and the parents have no ashame of it if Ur being spoilt dont go too far while askinf
the entitled sister is overall in the wrong, but calling someone's future marriage short-lived is a little bit of a low blow
Does anybody know the original reddit account who posted this
an entire conversation where they both say things to each other, but only one of them "went too far" "needs to apologize"
Yo bro can you post story of like abusive parents or unfair treatment
I think you forgot to add “only”
@@MrArielK I don't think so
@@zeenatjahan-hl1nt but that literally all he posts
I bet Denise marriage didn't last
Well that's just depressing
when i heard denise i was jian hao tan
Denise is a spoiled brat. Quick solution is to tell off your parents and stop associating with her.
denise the menace
After like 16 for the most part the you older and know better is a cop out.
seems really strange how you didn't talk about this early on with your parents when it was starting...
Um... It's the father of the bride that is supposed to pay.
So why is he such a dead beat?
De-neeeeez. Lol.
Yo i have seen that shulker action at 16:30 in some other video c:
OP played the UNO reverse card lol
no. you don't owe them anything
Tbh "your fiance will leave" you is out of line.
Yeah but in the sea of insulting behaviour from Denise, it's a forgivable thing. For all OP knows, he might, if spoiled sister will walk over him like she did over them
Yoo
Op love the drama too lol
NTA
So you basically became just like your parents? Picking favorites between your sisters? Such favoritism
Favorite sis here is justified unlike favorite child isnt
Can u use some common sense before commenting. Gosh, its annoying seeing you idiots everywhere
She had it coming
And and Michelle… like the RUclips Chanel??? @andy.and.Michelle
