In the last video, Cody mentioned some people being salty about him and his family doing well financially. These hilariously hateful people were then dunked on by Cody exposing RUclips's policy of airdropping bags of cash when you hit a million subscribers. Rock on, Cody. I may not be able to afford an excavator and a greenhouse but I'm the least poor I've ever been and I'm happy for both of us!

@@joshmarshall2805 no sir, poor is definitely an economic status. I wasn't poor because of my mindset. I was poor because my job didn't pay me enough to survive but it did take enough of my time to make gaining more lucrative skills incredibly difficult. Please don't say something like this to someone who has actually been poor.
@@DaddyWarlocks I don't think Josh was jabbing at you, or making light pf poverty. There is such a thing as a "poor state of mind", or a "poverty spirit", which people get regardless of their financial situation. They have an identity that is connected to "being poor". Even if they improve their situation, they always see themselves as "poor". An example of the opposite is the Cratchett family in "A Christmas Carol".
These people need to go back to some of his earlier videos where he is lifting up large logs using a Hi-Lift jack (dangerous, but he's being careful) because it's the only thing he has.

Knowing what I know now the first piece of equipment I would buy would be a side-by-side. The second piece of equipment I buy would be a dump trailer
@@wranglerstar Would it not be hard to get your money back or make a profit if you bought a side by side early on? I like the idea of a dump trailer and a small excavator (and pick up) to be able to work weekend jobs. It’s an interesting conundrum
@@wranglerstar A side by side can't do much that a pickup can't do though.
So a side by side normally has a dump bed. But it would only take a few minutes to unload if it didnt. A dump bed trailer that can hold five yards of material is going to take a good portion of the day to unload. You're not gonna do that by hand. Your time is too valuable.
So it seems to me a dump trailer is overall much more useful than a side by side.
It seems to me that you could do without the side by side but maybe not the dump trailer.

Tbf its also easier to be gentle with smaller machines. The big ones when you try to do small movements get all jerky on you lol

Personal opinion is that a dump trailer is a good investment for the handyman/ professional homeowner. It allows you to do many more things than just a pickup. Or at least makes them easier.

That old Ford can barely pull that big 'ol trailer load of dirt with that single alternator.
To keep those windows clean, I'd recommend a portable pure water brush system, with good skill you can be done in no time and use the system for all your outdoor window cleaning needs.
With all the cut down trees and brush, also having the excavator to dig it with you should start a huge hugelkultur bed and let all that brush grow something great.
Everyone has been talking about the super nice excavator but damn is that a nice dump trailer, what a flex Cody😂 I’m jealous a little bit.

Cody. I just bought a John Deere 35G excavator similar size to yours. and the same dump trailer. I have had some nervous moments loading and unloading. Video tips for safe loading and unloading this setup. If you want examples of what not to do I have some exciting moments you can contrast.
As much as that excavator might give you the fizz, it gives me the heebee jeebeez having it that close to the grenhouse. Hang on, let me get this lump outta my throat.
I have a hidden corner on my property that is a dirt and brush dump. I value every inch of my property and even though it unseen from living spaces it is always on my mind some day I need to clean that area up. The green house for Mrs W is fantastic.
Good stuff, i know its a lot of work to edit i just wish these videos were a bit longer.
Living where I do, I can say that seeing that load of topsoil absolutely gives me the fizz!!

I know this is going to be strange but thought I should share. I wish I had soil like that where I am. My soil is thick clay just mere inches below grass, let me tell you, not fun at all to dig by hand. So watching someone gently turn the earth by hand or machine, spurs a strange envy inside.

Cody, don't stand between the truck and dump trailer when you're dumping. Things can get really bad really quick. Stay as far away from that as possible.

This gives me some good information on why I should build up the dirt sides before I build on the cement slab : ) of course who knows there's probably all sorts of reasons to do it real gingerly around that glass building after its put up with the glass in it? I'm sure I'm wrong though because what do I know? Haha.

a solar panel would be you friend on that trailer, so the battery is always up and ready, i would put it on a stake and put in a stake pocket so it ez to remove.

That dump trailer behind the yanmar tractor would be more ideal more vision higher up. Tip from tractor seat
When dumping, back the trailer up before pulling forward and the pile will have a smaller footprint.
Good way to mess up the back if trailer depending what your dumping

Lol man you trippin. I've been using a wheelbarrow and shovel forever. However I finally got a call yesterday. The bobcat mt100 I ordered months ago, will finally be delivered. No more wheelbarrowing into my dump trailer. WEST COAST!

The addition of the Cat is gonna do one of two things; either allow you more free time or a lot more projects…..I’m thinking the latter.
Cody, ya'll should should consider getting a PTO chipper for loose branches and brush like that. We have a WoodMaxx WM-8H and it has by far been our most used implement. You will never run out of uses for woodchips.
I just read that Harbor Freight has a new dump trailer in their production line that Cody may want to test out with his new Super Duty truck.
I know this isn't covered in this video, but I'd really enjoy a video on your ebikes. I remember you mentioning them in an earlier video, but can't seem to find it now. I'm looking at one for my commute and riding around my work campus. Lots of options, I'd like to hear your thoughts/takeaways. ON the video. There are two things I could watch someone do all day: 1) lay brick 2) run an excavator.

I have a buddy that has a trailer just like that but different brand. Lets me use it from time to time. The dump bed option is great for me when I am getting wood to split for the stove. Great video sir. I quite like the machinery only sound. Always great music selections too! 🤙

Our dump trailer has been one of the best tools we have bought for our property. I'm also hauling it with a new 7.3 gasser, but I do not have dual alternators. Nice work Cody!

Dump trailer was one of the best purchases at my work. I've used it for just about every material.
Those dump trailers are so handy and useful... its kind of funny because here in Michigan it seems like everybody and their brother has one 😂😂

When I buy myself a dump trailer, it will definitely be a low one like yours. My FIL has one, but the bed is up atleast 3 feet off the ground. After using both, I don't know why he bought such a tall one! Keep up the great work Wranglerstar! You're a real inspiration!
The taller ones let you dump a taller pile with less spread. The lower profile ones can't dump an entire load without driving forward several feet. The taller ones are also wider because they go out over the wheels. That would be the two perks of the taller ones. I prefer the low profile ones.
