- Tawatchai is recorded to have had over 500 fights and known to have fought as often as three times a week back in Thailand. He was also the champion of Isarn which is the north eastern region of Thailand. Trainor is regarded as a U.K Muay Thai legend. His admirable career has spanned over three decades where he has claimed, defended and fought for numerous titles in many different governing bodies. After a controversial ending to their previous bout another was called for and neither wanted to leave anything to chance.

Damien, was very classy he could've finish his opponent at the very end but was just taking it easy. What an amazing dude, great coach and one heck of a fighter as well. This is one of the best Muay Thai/Kickboxing fight I've ever seem.
That's what you do in MT in the final round if there's a clear winner already to prevent unnecessary damage ilon both sides. When they extend their fist in the late rounds for a fist bump they are asking if the opponent wants to concede. If the opponent touches gloves they are saying "yes", then they will take it easy like that except for a couple exchanges here and there to satisfy the crowd.
Incredible. Damien is so humble throughout even though he knew he'd won.
A real gentleman and a wonderful example of how a professional martial artist should behave. Mr. Damien is on of the best fighters and with best i don't mean only professionally but as a human being.
Super respect beetwen the two fighters. Trainor took it easy at the end to prevent more injuries to his opponent and the Thai guy was very courageous!
7 years later, this fight is still relevant and inspiring. I know you won't answer Damien, but would you say this was your best fight?
Apart from the class fight, I just loved how Tawatchai was up again like a spring when he was thrown.
Ok the first time. Not so much later on!
I salute this man
Unambiguous indeed in this second fight Damien. 👏🏻 Yet, also impressed by how Tawatchai endured so much for so long💪🏻
Good fight
I like when Damien started to show boat
Good stylish fight
With side and youth advantage fighting an old man over the hill over his prime with so many miles on him close to 800 fight, so much deteriorating wars and still doing awesome work.
800 ahahahah not even half what are u talking about ahaah?
13 comment WTF - Two legends right there - Damien after 7 years I would love to know what your thoughts are now?? He looked lonely to me, did he come over on his own?? I can see a lot of respect but also a bit of needle between you two. Thank you both!! For such a beautiful exhibition...
Damien una bestia ..Saludos
Hey Damo, you truly had venom in all 8 limbs thanks for the memories brother!
Perfect
What a súper fight!!!🔥🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Listen to the smack smack smack!!! Beautiful fight
Superb
มวยไทยเหมือนแสดงละคร
did anyone else here the little kid shout bodyshot seconds before you drop him to the body. fucking class
3:55 beautiful
Proud of you damin
Holy fuck, I felt like the first fight was more impressive and entertaining and this one it felt like Damien had him pressed the whole time, anyways tawatchai keeps on having the coolest shorts, also it seemed he was struggling with his cup positioning tho
Totally the aggressor..Great fight
U really didn't want the judge to be funny this time wow u won every round.
His friend filming didn't know what conceding was
i wonder how much their weights? seems like damien weight more, but not sure
Floyd Dominique I weighed 55.3 Tawatchai weight 54.9
Still he got youth and prime over this under sized Thai fighters with so many war closed to 800 fight over the hill over his prime and still put out a good fight. Damien still disrespectful fight Tatatchai stuck on rope he still tried to hit him from behind, when Damien stuck on ropes, Tatatchai just move away not trying that cheap shots.
👍
Tawatchai's strange battle did not seem serious
Classy
What's the weight difference in ring? 10kg?
Mathew Martin Tawatchai was 54.9kg and I was 55.3kg
@@Trainor103 on scales? 24hrs before? Do you remember what you rehydrated to?
Mathew Martin 57/58kg mate I never had to cut much weight when I fought.....don’t believe in it.
This is the best muay thai Ive ever seen from a westerner. Im gonna watch all of damien trainor's fights now; I can learn something from him(I have been training muay thai for 2 years and 2 months so far; got class tomorrow in fact, with sparring ofc). I use a very similar style to his. I use my boxing alot. Kicks too when I can land them, low kicks most of the time. Every fighter I watch(all his fights, to study his technique) always gives me something to use in live exercises, and to focus on in my shadow boxing and bag work at home, including defensive moves of course.
o.k
You couldn't have made that sound any more made up lol but if not keep it up man I love muy thai as well
I wa😁nna fight you
Chuck don't forget to throw some of Damo's trademark jumping downwards elbows ok crack some craniums brother !
Tawatchai doesn't seem to be so well
Lol that's the traditional muay thai vs the new muay thai
He seems to be exhausted or something.. that's what I meant
I agree he is not beaming with life like the last fight they had. We expected it to be closer
Jet lag?
@@youngzed1709 no its not muai thai its boxing
The reff wasn't having it! He wanted Trainor to knock the Tawat out!
Much better fight without all the cheer leaders from England 😂😆 lol
the second was not as exciting as the 1st
Sad. Old guy should have retired years ago
HardcoreRomeo I’m actually the older guy 😂
Damien Trainor Lol that’s awesome
@@Trainor103 nice counter shot Damien lol
Yeah, older in years, but Lucky/Tawatchai has been fighting since he was like 6 and has fought 300-400 times
Ryan Beirne which is the case with most Thais 😊👍
ฝรั่งสอนมวย
Boxing vs muay thai🤭
เลิกเถอะจุก แก่กล้า สอนฝรั่งดีกว่า
Tatatchai old and gets tired too quick. Wish Tainor could have fought him prime on prime instead Tatatchai went through closed to 800 fights already. Nothing to be so proud of beating an old man over the hill.
