So fucking disrespectful to dido, I like what you did but ffs this is not the way you cover a song like that, you don't understand how important that song is to some people and you made it sound awful, sorry but I'm sure you would want the truth
Soo....let me see if I understand your logic. If I pay tribute to an artist, and song that I enjoy by doing my own interpretation of it, I am being disrespectful. However, if someone comes onto a video of someone else's work and blasts them by saying how terrible their work that is what? Uplifting? In regards to the last part of your little rant. This is your opinion, and you are welcome to it. I wouldn't take that away from anyone.
Having said that, telling me I don't understand what this song means to people is incredibly ignorant, as I did a cover of it BECAUSE it is important to me. If you don't enjoy it, you are welcome to not watch it. I'm not disrespecting an individual by playing her music in a different style. I am paying tribute to her, while still being true to the type of music I enjoy doing.
