Things may not have gone the way we wanted today in terms of the red ribbon issue, but goodness me we saw some acting masterpieces today. Halil literally begged Zeynep to help him, he was clinging onto his last shreds of sanity,shaking as he showed his vulnerable side to Zeynep,although she didnt realise the weight of what he was saying when he said he had forgotten everything he knew.He declared himself to be completely at her mercy and Gökberk brought this side of Halil to life with yet another superb performance. His facial expressions combined with the slight quiver of his hands, were very palpable as we went through this emotional experience along with him. Thank you for giving us these moments, team RT ❤

At this rate, I’m just waiting for season 2 but I'm seriously hoping for some character development. Zeynep seems to love being sad and humiliated. She's supposed to be this resilient character who wouldn't back down and would fight for her family. Yet, she throws away a great job opportunity just because she's feeling jealous? feeling like she is not valued enough? So the best decision is to go back being a maid. And then there's Halil, who is not man enough and seems to lack the maturity to handle his issues. He doesn't communicate and confess his revenge first. I feel like somehow Alper will be the one who will tell Zeynep about the revenge or someone else. It just feels like it’s not gonna be Halil who will reveal it. All we see is him crying, clenching his fists, and making calls to Eren for help. He needs to step up, be a man, and tell Alper straight up to get out of his house immediately. Also, are we really supposed to enjoy watching the couple who spend all their time in the restaurant? Because it looks like things are about to go downhill for Selma too. (Just adding this here because a lot of people seem to think that I’m against Zeynep. I will always be a supporter of the resilient Zeynep. Not the one falling for the guy who mistreated her without any explanation and allow his aunt to beat her. As long as she still doesn’t know the truth, I don’t want that for her)
I agree on some of what you have said but Halil is following the doctor's decision to not add stress to Zeynep and that's what kept him from talking but he is also clueless, zeynep decided to get angry out of nothing, left the farm yesterday, today went back to maid work. Everyone is trying to talk to Zeynep and she is the one sending away all of them with the workload excuse, I apologize but I see rudeness on her behavior and really without any reason. Halil is not her husband, her fiancé, she doesn't have to be angry if he is with another woman. They are portraying a 14 years teenager instead of a 24 years strong lady who managed all their wealth when her father passed away. We went from top to bottom in this last week
I LOVE what Eren said to Selma about taking care of her grandmother and understanding grandma's misunderstanding about the cookies. Beautiful. Loving. So very sweet and gentle, on his part. I adore Selma Kutlug's portrayal of Zumrut. Her comments and the shared reactions of the granddaughters/ sisters are so on point with an elder living with dementia. (She reminds me of my mother, my sister, and I when my mother had dementia. Selma Kutlug makes me cry, smirk, smile, and laugh---like my mother did. Thank you. Your portrayal is so moving and wonderful. It is so difficult, but it is also such an honor to care for a loved one who is living with dementia. )

Now suddenly, the Scriptwriters are making her look stupid and childish……she gives up a job which is in her field and goes back to being a maid, something which she did not choose the first time…..but now chooses to be a maid just because she feels some jealousy about Berna and Halil? Please, Scriptwriters, please keep Zeynep the character you first created so that she can continue to be an inspiration for young women all over the world!

The problem is with this show is there is no progression. Its as if we sre watching episode 20. If the writers are planning on fixing the show begin with actually getting them together. All these moments and they haven't confessed anything. Such a waste. You could do a million dofferent plots regarding intense storylines but progressssss the story. Its almost 110 and nothing is happening. It's like they take 10 steps forward and 20 steos back. So frustrating.
There are so many stories for the future. When they came home from catching the real killers they talked about their adventures. I dont think the show is over when they love and dedicate themselves to each other. It really can begin more chapters. Everyone keeps talking about the big bomb and the reaction. I had hoped her strong love and character was going to work through it with him and decide to stay commited and weigh everything instead of stay on an emotional roller coaster. There is room for mercy for Haliel since he was brainwashed as a kid and seeds of revenge and hate were planted and watered in his soul. Zeynep said at one time she could chase the darkness of his heart away but she didn't know if he was worth it-.(stairs during the Gulhane was making them leave chapter). The village Aunts story laid a path for redemption. But, now, she does not seem like the fighter who will do that. She is cutting herself off from even her sister who has always told her to stop doing it alone and to let them help. Selma has also been in love twice. But, she has dismissed her older sister. That is a fault in her character. She doesn't listen and doesn't seem teachable at this point

Didn’t think this series will get boring but it did. I think they switched writers or something. I hate when a drama looses the reality foundation because no way in real life someone would have let a guest like Alper stay. I feel like somehow Alper will be the one who will tell Zeynep about the revenge or someone else. It just feels like it’s not gonna be Halil who will reveal it. All we see is him crying, clenching his fists, and making calls to Eren for help. He needs to step up, be a man, and tell Alper straight up to get out of his house immediately. Also, are we really supposed to enjoy watching the couple who spend all their time in the restaurant? Because it looks like things are about to go downhill for Selma too.
(Just adding this here because a lot of people seem to think that I’m against Zeynep. I will always be a supporter of the resilient Zeynep. Not the one falling for the guy who mistreated her without any explanation and allow his aunt to beat her. As long as she still doesn’t know the truth, I don’t want that for her)

I agree on some of what you have said but Halil is following the doctor's decision to not add stress to Zeynep and that's what kept him from talking but he is also clueless, zeynep decided to get angry out of nothing, left the farm yesterday, today went back to maid work. Everyone is trying to talk to Zeynep and she is the one sending away all of them with the workload excuse, I apologize but I see rudeness on her behavior and really without any reason. Halil is not her husband, her fiancé, she doesn't have to be angry if he is with another woman. They are portraying a 14 years teenager instead of a 24 years strong lady who managed all their wealth when her father passed away.

(She reminds me of my mother, my sister, and I when my mother had dementia. Selma Kutlug makes me cry, smirk, smile, and laugh---like my mother did. Thank you. Your portrayal is so moving and wonderful. It is so difficult, but it is also such an honor to care for a loved one who is living with dementia. )

Now suddenly, the Scriptwriters are making her look stupid and childish……she gives up a job which is in her field and goes back to being a maid, something which she did not choose the first time…..but now chooses to be a maid just because she feels some jealousy about Berna and Halil? Please, Scriptwriters, please keep Zeynep the character you first created so that she can continue to be an inspiration for young women all over the world!

In a world where 50 percent of the population are female but in this 21st century where females are still suppressed and have yet to realize their human rights, watching strong female characters on the screen can have an impact on their daily lives!
The problem is with this show is there is no progression. Its as if we sre watching episode 20. If the writers are planning on fixing the show begin with actually getting them together. All these moments and they haven't confessed anything. Such a waste. You could do a million dofferent plots regarding intense storylines but progressssss the story. Its almost 110 and nothing is happening. It's like they take 10 steps forward and 20 steos back. So frustrating.
There are so many stories for the future. When they came home from catching the real killers they talked about their adventures. I dont think the show is over when they love and dedicate themselves to each other. It really can begin more chapters. Everyone keeps talking about the big bomb and the reaction. I had hoped her strong love and character was going to work through it with him and decide to stay commited and weigh everything instead of stay on an emotional roller coaster. There is room for mercy for Haliel since he was brainwashed as a kid and seeds of revenge and hate were planted and watered in his soul. Zeynep said at one time she could chase the darkness of his heart away but she didn't know if he was worth it-.(stairs during the Gulhane was making them leave chapter). The village Aunts story laid a path for redemption. But, now, she does not seem like the fighter who will do that. She is cutting herself off from even her sister who has always told her to stop doing it alone and to let them help. Selma has also been in love twice. But, she has dismissed her older sister. That is a fault in her character. She doesn't listen and doesn't seem teachable at this point

Didn’t think this series will get boring but it did. I think they switched writers or something. I hate when a drama looses the reality foundation because no way in real life someone would have let a guest like Alper stay.
