I have a head canon that the reason there was a content drought was because there was a room full of squeenix writers pulling their hair out and stressing over how and what to name everything in the new expansion. XD Then! Suddenly! Tacos! And inspiration was had!
18:00 - Not gonna lie, I was playing FFXIV while watching this video, and was in Emperium, with the HW music playing in the background while listening to this scene in the video. "He loves me." Side note : FFXI Complete is on Steam Store for a good price. It was the only FF main line I havent played. Started a toon in San'doria. It's....interesting.
There is 0 hand holding in that game lol. Back in the day, everything was word of mouth. Wikia's weren't really a thing and we went off of forum information for quests and stuff.
If you want to know more about where Prishe comes from, watch the ffxi opening movie, and remember that it took a full party to beat a singe orc of the same level
The best part of the alliance raid quest is the fact that the devs have implied that FFXI and FFXIV share the same game universe. Now, it also implies that the events of FFXI were in the past. Now, would that mean it was the eleventh reflection, another reflection, maybe even the same one that Alexander was part of? Who knows.
1:35:42 It might not have been said, but thats the vibe that comes from you every time you play any type of dawntrail content now adays. Something has Wuk Lamat, "F*** me here we go again eyes" instantly into the camera. Does not have Wuk lamat at all, and you still try to find multiple ways to complain about the content regardless of if its justified or not. The First Couple of seconds of this video i only see worry, distress, and regret going into the quest. There is no optimism on your face from hearing all the great things. There is no eagerness on your face. All i see is a person going through the motions to get it don't and over with, so they can do what they really want. I Truly do believe that Dawntrail msq soiled your experience to the point of no return, and you wont give it another fair shake until the next expansion. But that's just some random commenters opinion on the matter
"Hey I know this game throwed turd in your face but why are you still mad???" Seriously, why should we pretend to enjoy the game when the devs don't even want us to.
@@Lord_Sunday There is no problem with hating a game. I constantly hate on Destiny 2 while there are still people playing it to this day, and i have no idea why they are. Just dont pretend you are giving the game a fair shake when you are playing the new content when in reality you are just there to go through the motions.
Hey maybe watch even a tiny bit of the video you're commenting on to know as early as 1:38 into the vod someone asks how she's feeling and its clear from her response she's going through some stuff personally before deciding to launch into a diatribe about how awful she's doing at reacting to something.
Zoraal Ja took down Bakool Jaja in one hit and we're expected to believe Saraal Ja survived a blow from Zoraal Ja with the intent to kill. And then they gaslight the players into forgetting Saraal Ja fell off of the platform. I hope I'm not the only one who's fed up with this weak anime-trope writing from the FF team.

Dawntrail’s story wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t HW or ShB level of greatness, but it was on par with Stormblood and the over hyped Endwalker storylines.
