Let me know if you all agree!
agree with this, even content is dificult to get by, in my country even the 9th gens get quite the hate
Cause you can't hear the VTEC y0!😂 bigger body style than the 8th, low factory redline, blah blah blah. As a daily driver, the 9th rules with a more modern look, way better interior (13 and up) and looks a bit more 'grown' than the 8th. The interior on the 8th is as low budget as you can get.
I agree! Best daily ever
🎯
I cant be the only one that only likes the look of old civics want to buy a civic but all the new ones look so squished
I agree with you on the Rev limit and VTEC part but when you mentioned the paint I laughed because the 8th gen paint is way worse. And the 9th gen civic looks way better and more aggressive than the 8th gen civic.
@@min.dorianpena9085 yea but the paint didn’t get much better from Honda
My 8th Gen has no clear coat issues, but it was garaged or under a carport most its life
I personally have a 2012 coupe and i like it ! I think they have a lot of potential when mod right
@@daraichedave yessir! Love the coupes
ironically the weird header flows really good in turbo applications
@@Hondasmonda yes! 🙌
I purchased a 8th gen si sedan back in sept 2021 loved it was very fun and a blast to drive after about a year the paint started to get back on both back doors the headliner was sagging and I took very good care of it one thing I can say it was reliable af I drove the shit out of it for 3 years didn’t have a single issue it had 215k miles when I traded it back in Aug for a 2015 si the 9th is so much nicer especially the inside and the added features are a bonus my 9th feels faster imo I don’t have to downshift as much I do miss the crossover that’s about it as far as the paint goes so far so good we will see how it looks in about a year the only flaw is the rev hang!!!!!
Love the Christmas music lol
@@Americium-241 hah thanks! I love Christmas time lol
Yesssirrr i have a head swap 9th gen with type oil pump FUCKEN LOVE IT recently bought my 2nd one just 4 dr
@@fg4_jr408 a beautiful combo!
Keep it up with the daily upload 🔥🔥
@@daraichedave thanks for watching man!
my 15’s paint is good, bumper is peeling but i know the cause pf that and its not hondas fault, i feel like i like mine alot because of how good of a daily it is. Ive driven mazdas, 8th gens, focus st’s,Acura Tl’s and everytime i get in my car the driving feel is always really solid and the 14-15 headunit is really simple and nice. Is it boring? Yeah it is but its a really fun car if you can overlook intake only vtec
Yeah I love them. Perfect daily drivers that can be used at the track too!
if honda would have put vtech on both sides and a 8k redline, then there would be no hate. why is there no hate for the 10th?
@@paisleyplastic it’s boosted
@@Lowgz but for economy reasons not because they wanted big power
@ yes but what I’m getting at is everyone didn’t mind the lack of vtec when they can get a turbo. I personally feel like the 10th gen’s get some hate when it comes to performance as well unless it’s a Type R
i own both a 2012 and a 2015 si coupe i love both of them so much, paint so far has not been an issue with me thankfully but i was planning on wrapping them anyways also for power wise you can get a bolt on supercharger kit for pretty cheap and there is not much of a different between the two cars its just what stile you like more like 14 and 15 have the red seats and face lift
@@calebbuildscars good to know thanks for the comment! Love these cars!
I have a 2014 si coupe, I’ve just got a street tune from the Hondata that really woke it up, also using a roar pedal which is another nice little addition on the speed and pickup side of things, mostly on the low end. But I am wanting to do more, would you recommend supercharging or turbo kit? And also can you point me in the direction of the supercharger you’re speaking of? Thanks
@@ThisIsEnsaine me personally I recommend a supercharger for easy installation, nice power upgrade and keeping it reliable
@@Lowgzthanks for that, I’m actually in Ohio too, out in Cleveland area. I will look in to it
Bought a 2015 Civic Si Coupe back in September 2019 @ 35,000 miles after my 2010 RX-8 @ 120,000 miles at the time got into an accident.
Im currently at 142,000 miles, paint still ok but I was putting ceramic/graphene spray coating every 6 months or so 🤔
But I enjoy the car as my daily and spirited driving 😉, yeah VTEC is only on the intake side but you get more usable torque
@@AnythingGoesJoJo good to know! I love these cars for a daily!
little late to this but i havent touched the paint on my 14 and the paints still good, no peel.
Hey man, question for you. You talk about their being no aftermarket support, I actually own a carbon fiber manufacturing business and we made 9th gen carbon mirror caps a few years ago. It took us 3 full years to sell only 20 sets. By far our worst selling product in history. You say that the aftermarket has improved a bit, would you recommend we go back in or do you think it’s just a dead platform from a business perspective?
@@Wonderlaust honestly I would avoid the 9th gen’s as far as carbon goes
All in all, perfect daily. Fun cars to put 150k miles on
I’ve debating on selling my coupe I had full bolts on then sold everything years ago because I thought I was going to sell it and I just can’t let go I’d like to trade it honestly but idk
@@HondaHalkergarage I’m in the same spot. Love it too much to let it go
