Seaworld really likes this type of coaster. There’s one called tigress at Busch Gardens, Tampa, and one called the Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg too.
Same model as Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. First of its model in the SeaWorld chain, installed in 2015. Predating Electric Eel (installed in 2018 in San Diego) & Trigris (installed in 2019 in Tampa).
It’s terrifying once your in front of it waiting in line but I swear the scary part is when you go backwards the first time . After it’s over it’s really fun. I almost backed down on it I’m glad I didn’t one of the best roller coasters I’ve ever been on 👍👍
It closed for a while because someone was injured on it and an investigation is underway. Yes it was a scary ride and did don’t feel secure in the seat.

This coaster is a knock-off of the "Sky Scream" in the Holiday Park in Germany😂... ... (The Sky Scream opened July 15, 2014 and looks the same as the Electric Eel opened May 10, 2018)
Sadly the ride closed down due to someone receiving a leg injury during the ride. It’s been some time, but I’m assuming the ride is still under further safety inspections to determine if the coaster will reopen. If the ride fails to meet up to standards it might be permanently shut down. (And to all those people who are saying the eel is a rip off of another ride, it’s not a ripoff, this specific coaster is literally a certain type of roller coaster. It’s like saying all boat rides are ripoffs of other boat rides. They might be the same ride but you can still enjoy them.)
Me if I was on that: “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *almost crys*” I have a fear of heights and that ride would make me say: yep it’s time to cry 😂
I went to SeaWorld San Diego I live like around 30 mins from there and me and my dad (rip) and my two little sisters went and my two little sisters where both to young at the time so my dad said that I can go on it by myself and it was super fun
That's so brutal and fun 😂 I miss that I used to go on rides with my dad and we would have a blast! I took my daughter to the rollercoaster in Sea world and she kept asking me if I was sure I could just skip it and I said little girl you're about to be schooled 😂😂😂 it was awesome she couldn't believe that I loved rollercoasters 😂😂😂❤

In Lake Compounce in Connecticut. There is the same exact roller coaster but it’s called phobia in which is orange and purple.
