Just found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for posting the footage of the event. You are an inspiration to me to one day take my wife on a long road trip in my Traveler.
Been waiting for this one in particular! My dad and I were in the metallic blue '66 800 on the trail ride with you. You said you'd make us look good as we chickened out and retreated, haha. That you did! Some great footage of our Scout there. Enjoying your adventures through the US, glad you were able to join the RMIHR show.
That's awesome! That blue 800 is 🔥! Don't blame you guys a bit. We both made it to the top, proved the ability of the 800s, loosened a couple fillings, found a couple new squeaks, and lived to fight another day. Glad you enjoyed the footage, I enjoyed checking out your cherry rig. 👍
When you said you were going to be staying at a Buffalo Farm, I thought for sure it was going to be The Terry Creek Bison Ranch. The really big bison ranch right off of I-25 on the WY/CO border.

Not too far away from us. I’ve got a few myself but they’re all 800s. Only Nugget is tagged but all but one runs. The top speed thing is helped for us by the overdrive I installed. Nugget doesn’t have the best gear ratio for highway driving but the OD helps. If you see how fast I’m going on the speedometer you have to remember that the actual speed is 10 miles an hour less. it needs calibrated.
