Perries high note in change your life during the summer hits tour is literally so good. Ik it’s not live but she still had to record it like that and it just sounds different to the og note
I think Perrie usually lips less than the other girls bc she enjoys singing live more(not saying that Leigh jade and jesy don't) so she refuses to lip sync some parts and her voice gets tired/ill more easily such as in 2016. And ofc she has very very high notes.
She dodges notes more than all of them and tosses the mic to the crowd more than the others to avoid notes so she really isn't live that much more than anyone
I didn't know Reggaeton Lento was like 90% lipped ☠️☠️☠️ even recent performances, like the one in Brazil (2020), they use the same pre-recorded vocals. Some from Touch, too lol
4:26 everyone says the movement was too extra when its not imo. If I had a big belt like that I would be using anything to stable my vocals (even tho it was lipped)
Leigh did her nmms adlib on the first date (I think, I'm going off memory) of the summer shout out tour but it wasn't the actual high note, she dodged it. Perrie's have never been live from what I recall. Leigh has done some of the power adlibs live I think a few times but with note changes. I'm not sure though. I would need to do more research on that to answer confidently.

Sometimes I wonder how much they acoustics of the stage affect whether and when they choose to lip sync.
