As mentioned by dltcat, at the 9:45 mark, your wood was not all the way against your stop block, that is why some cuts are off. Nothing to do with the saw at all.
i’m a dyi fair weather wood worker. so i put the miter saw on a ridgid rolling miter stand. very mobile and cans store in the upright position. since i doo all wood working outside , sawdust is not a concern . i did the same for my table saw mounted on a powertec stand. i use my leaf blower to clear off all the saw dust. both the harbor fright miter and table saw are perfect for the home owner that does wood projects or repairs around the house.
I might be getting this one today as my first miter saw at the age of 14. I’ve saved up my money for over 3 months and now it’s on discount and the price is at $315
I looked at this saw. I’m sure it’s a good product but the slide mechanism on it and others is a non-starter. Takes way too much room. Bought a Metabo HPT because of prior experience and the slide mechanism design. But the saw was defective and it was returned. I now have a Bosch with their glide system.

the cut you made at the 9:45 minute mark was not up against the stop. it stopped against the table just before the block.

Very nice and thank you for the video sir 👍😎🇺🇸
Furniture making grade cuts or just deck building grade?
Would you attempt expensive crown molding cuts with it?
All cuts are spot-on accurate and smooth as silk.
Was the fence and bevel square out of the box or did you have to adjust
Mine was perfectly square out-of-the-box. No issues.

You can buy a much better designed 3d printed aftermarket dust pick up custom made for that saw for about $40.
