Admittedly I am watching these video at this point, patting myself on the back on what a great purchase I did. But I actually learned two new things from you. I hadn't notices that I could recharge the remote with the USB-C cable and that I need to take out the battery from the device to prevent it from discharging. I only bought mine a month ago and the laser now comes with an even better bracket, where the laser is no longer suspended but is put on the bracket. And that bracket is AMAZING. For me, the bracket and the finetuning it allows, was one of the selling points. I am going to remove the battery now 🙂. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video. I see there are 4 screws under the base. But the base is thick, making the laser beam is 1.5cm away from the ground. Is it possible to unscrew the mount for to install a slimmer plate, in order to have the beam closer to the ground ?
Out performs my $1000 Bosch. What really sets the Huepar products above all the other big name brands is laser quality. My Bosch and Dewalt have blurry laser lines with a lot of "bleedout". The Huepar features incredibly crisp lines, extremely accurate
Just for your info, on the mount with different adjustments, the telescopic adjustment can be quick adjust by pressing on the silver button. You don't really have to spend a decade to roll on the fine adjustment knob.
Great, comprehensive review. F1 on a computer keyboard usually gets you into the operating system setup, and F2 lets you edit stuff. Don’t know if the same applies here.
The battery discharges because it has Bluetooth running looking for the remote. There is also a small draw from the electronic power switch. The lock switch is mechanical so no draw.
In the instructions included with my S04CG, Huepar says the F1 and F2 buttons are designed for use with future more advanced models. F1 and F2 perform no function on current models (as of May 2023.)
Awesome buddy ! Glad to have you on board ! For the money buddy I really don’t think you can go wrong, there are plenty of “budget” lasers out there but the good thing with huepar is they have an online presence, and they are contactable if you need them. Let me know what you go from buddy.
@@bootsmclaughlin1438 there’s a link in my video description mate, that will take you to the website to buy it from, there just search for s04cg. There loads on there mate, there run from about £80 to £250 depending on the model buddy
Has blue tooth as well
Yes it has, I forgot to mention that in my video !

I’m not sure to be honest, you could prob 3D print a new base but haven’t tried this so not sure

Can it be seen clearly in sunlight?
Afraid not buddy, I think you would struggle to find one that you can see in sunlight but you can get a receiver

Ahh okay, that makes sense ! Thanks buddy
Keep up the good work. 👍

Is the laser reliable? If the laser is not on level, that's a pointless laser 🤷♂️
It’s a very reliable laser buddy, I’ve been using it for a year now 👍🏻
They have way way to many models.
Yes they do have a few don’t they !
