My wife of 32 years, the mother of our 3 children, she home schooled them, made their clothing and mine, cooked meals, cleaned and gave love to all in every way. She went to be with the Lord Oct 29th 2018. This song reminds me she finished her work, and the Lord said to her "well done". I miss her, bitterly, Lord thank you for my wife. You finished the fight Karen, well done. Lord keep her, the fruits of her life testify of you.

When this song first came out, I showed it to my Aunt. I knew she would love it but she rarely listened to the radio. After one listen, without hesitation, she made me promise her this song would be played at her funeral. I told her she was too young to go and I hope we didnt have to worry about it for another 10 or 20 years at least. She said she hoped the same, but she passed unexpectedly away at only 68 last October. I kept my promise. This was the perfect send off for Teeny. ❤

My Lola joined our creator just this March 04, 2024. This was the song we sang for her on her funeral. It was a relief for us her grandchildren knowing that she did her race very well and now she's with the Lord singing with the angels in heaven. Well Done Lola Vic, we'll see you soon in heaven .
I'm a 14-year-old girl and I seldom comment. But all my life, I've come between being on fire for God, too occupied or distracted to make time for Him, and just being a lukewarm Christian. I've always had a problem with dealing with my own emotions, it hits me hard when I can't fix things or make sense of my thoughts. Just yesterday I had a breakdown, and I'm coming back to seek the Lord. I've always struggled to believe that I could be special or needed by anyone, even the Father, but today I came across the song 'Remind Me Who I Am' by Jason Gray and it encouraged me and it was like God was answering to my prayers of insecurity and worthlessness. Then came 'Broken Hallelujah' by the Afters, and next up this song was recommended. I am speechless. I know right now that I am determined, to not let the busyness of life and its distractions distract me from the grace of God that is in my life. This song put me back on the right track... I've been so burdened by trying to live up to expectations of my parents, teachers, friends, peers, siblings, myself.....basically, everyone. And no one has ever told me they were proud of me and felt like they meant it, verbal and emotional abuse is a constant in my life, though it's ungrateful to say because I know they love me, I'm just really sensitive. But you feel what you feel, and I've been so sick of feeling this way and having to keep it in, and so bad for thinking this way. But this really helped me realign myself that the only reason I'm living is for His 'Well done, well done, my good and faithful one.' I know I'm still learning to not value myself on grades, on praise and on raised voices of 'you're good for nothing', but thanks for this song. It reminded me of the purpose every child of God should be living for.

My beautiful wife of 45+ years, Lindsey, entered eternity on March 9th - not even 2 weeks ago. It seems a lot longer as my heart is aching, but, because of a blessed family, my spirit is soaring! This song will be sung at her "Celebration Of Life" on April 13th. She was my best friend and lover and she led me to the Lord in 1972. She lived her Christianity everyday and made her walk fresh by her love for our 2 sons, their wives and grandkids, her mother of 88 years, her older brother and younger sister PLUS all our friends...……. Yes, she heard "well done" as she entered heaven..... Oh my, how I miss her. Thanks Afters for this wonderful song...…….

I am new to Christianity; this is my 8 days on this path of seeking for our Lord God. This is the first time I’ve heard this song, it touched me so deep that I cry without realizing it. Everyone Please pray for me as I search for our Lord God. Also please pray for my little family, we are going through a tough time right now. My wife is a born Christian but now her fate is very little it’s all because of me. Without realizing it I’ve caused her so much pain over the years we’ve been married. We now have a 19 Months old son, she left with my son about a week ago. They are currently staying with her family; I miss them so much. Please pray that God will walk with us, protect and lead us to the light and cast away any demon that may lies within us and or temp us. Thank you

Crazy moment, night of my last high school track meet after years of having anxiety about running races, I finished my last 4x400 and would graduate the morning after. On the way home at night I heard "Well done, well done" and I turned it up. "You have run the race and now you're home". After all these years, God has watched me struggle and he never let me face it alone, I had so many amazing coaches and teammates supporting me. I am so blown away at how much this song spoke to me, and I'm so thankful God let it play right then. Now God can lead onto a new type of race, I just hope to stay close to Him
The Afters learned that the day they released this song, was the same day that God called Billy Graham home to Heaven. Can't think of a more fitting song than this one for Billy Graham. 2 years ago tomorrow.

After my grandma (89) was sick and in the hospital I heard this song, it played at least 50 times in a week, and the time I heard it on her favorite playlist I found out she passed away less than 15 minutes later. She was the most God honoring woman and she wanted to see her son who was ready to meet her in heaven. I finally gave in and played the song at the funeral home and everyone agreed that it was the song to walk out to. Rest in peace Lillian

This song has helped me in the darkest moments in my life when I was struggling with anxiety. God has been so faithful to me to overcome from all the battles. I know that God is not waiting till that day, but even now He tells us “Well done, my child”. And on that day too that will be the best thing we will hear for an eternity in our lives.

This video makes me think of a guy that struggles in life. Maybe he's a drug addict, alcoholic, or mentally ill. He always sticks with the lord no matter the amount of adversity he faces. He dies and everybody is singing this to him in heaven.

First time listening to this song. Found myself in tears, thinking about my Grandma. She lost her battle with cancer in November 2014 and went home to be with the Lord. She was a Christian and she knew where she was going. But it's not made the pain of her absence any less. I just miss her and songs like this, though beautiful, remind me more sharply that this world is flawed. That everything has a limit here, but lasts forever in Heaven.
Somethings are true whether we believe it or not. God is real and we trust that one day pain will be no more. I am sorry to hear about your grandmother, she died but in Christ she is alive.

Thank You for such a beautiful song... 5 years ago this evening, I was driving home from my mom's visitation. I was so lost and crushed after losing her so unexpectedly on 5/25/19. I asked the Lord to give me a sign that she was home safe and secure with Him in Heaven. I reached over and turned on the radio, and this song was beginning to play. I began to sob so violently at the beauty, and timeliness of this answer to prayer, that I had to pull over to let it finish. My mother passed Feb 2020. A friend sang this song at her funeral. It is the absolute perfect song for her. She loved Jesus her entire life and served him so very faithfully. I know without a doubt “Well Done” is exactly what the Lord said to her when she came into his presents. This song gives me so much peace now as I miss her terribly!

My 21 month old daughter died in her sleep with no cause on the night between Christmas 25th Dec and boxing day. A family member said every Christmas now is sad because of the reminder of her death. But I said Christmas is a reminder that because our Saviour is born, we will see her again in heaven. So while it's a sad occasion it is also a joyous occassion of hope of the eternity to come.
