8 years ago, I was a pregnant, I was 20 years old back then, no job, left by the father of my child. This is on the loop every day. Now I'm thriving in my career and ministry while being a full time mom. God is good, He is and will always be.

I was so broken for so long... I needed a breakthrough in biblical proportions, I neede more than a miracle, i needed Jesus to show up, and guess what, He did, and I'm not broken anymore. He healed both my shattered heart and split mind (not sure how many times it was split). The voices of my past have been silenced and Satan isn't allowed to speak to me anymore... When you hit rock bottom completely and just do not have the strength to keep going you feel dead, because you are dead,in SIN, but then you feel a voice draw you in, that gives you a sense of hope and through faith you finally praise the lord and confess from thy mouth and confess that you have been wrong,committed sins that have caused pain unto you and your family friends and loved ones and you feel horrible and shameful and then u break out in fear of the lord for acknowledging what you have done over the years and many trials you had went through by sinning and just relaying on yourself and your best interest at the time for this world of satin..."New International Version Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."then it comes you've completely dropped all of you're pride and by faith put your full trust and life in the hands of the lord.You shout "father forgive me for i am ashamed of my awful sins!" and you burst into tears of joy from and everlasting love and sense of tons of weight being suddenly lifted from your shoulders thats when you have just found the father!! I'm writing this post to one day look back on this day knowing that I trusted God when everything around me seemed to crumble. I will press on and one day will see the plan he unfolded for me.
I got my son taken away, for what seemed a lifetime, he’s been back with me for over six years, how amazing is God, he brought my son back. I sang to this song over seven years ago, a hidden part at a park, just me and my tears, begging God to bring my son home, thank you Lord. I found my diary from that day, I sketched me and the vast open area, I read my prayer, God heard me, praise you in the highest Lord. Thank you for helping me, for answering my prayer. If you are wondering, keep praying, God will answer in his time.

My father went on a 4-day business trip to another country and has been missing for over 2 months now. Search efforts have turned up nothing. I struggle to be strong for the whole family and put on a good face and keep going but I just get tired of being strong sometimes. "When all is taken away, don't let my heart be changed...". That's my prayer right now. The whole song has become a prayer for me. It’s been on my loop lately (end of Sept 2024) 😊 I used to listen to this when I went through addiction & had to fight like all hell for my daughter. That was years ago, but it’s been on my loop since I lost my Pap in July. He was my everything and was there for my husband & I at our worst; and he loved his great granddaughter with everything in him. He got to see her come home & us turn it all around. I’m 33- and he’s my first loss/ grief I’ve gone through and I had a whole playlist called “Pap” and this is a part of it. Crazy how songs come to back to us after years without thinking or listening to the song.

hi Melissa. There is nothing wrong with you. There are really times when we don't feel God. It is normal. But it doesn't mean that because we don't feel God, He is not with us and we will stop glorifyng Him. Becausr no mattet what we feel, He is still God. +melissa matthews Yup, I was like that, too. After a week being in a summer Christian camp, I was revived and got closer to God. For me, it was because I wasn't spending enough time with Him. The more we spend time with God, the more we'll want to be with Him, and I definitely felt his presence. I will pray for you.

This is a great song I am offering up as a prayer for a woman who lost her family. They were murdered a year ago. She is frozen still in shock, like recovering from war. The only way we can survive is spiritually praying, for a broken hallelujah. This is the perfect song to say, reach out to God. There is healing. He is there. When everything slips away, He is there and we are not along. If you read this, pray for her that she learns to still praise God. She is here for a purpose. Don't give up.

I watched my 9 year old niece be baptized last winter and the band began to play "Hallelujah" and the lines "it's a cold and broken Hallelujah" brought tears to my eyes. Her daddy had lost his aggressive fight with Lukemia just 4 months earlier. Sometimes life is a cold and broken Hallelujah. Her daddy loved the Lord and would have loved to see her dedicate her life to the Lord. Her baptism was such a joyous and sorrowful experience at the same time. This song is seriously comforting as we walk through the loss of our loved one and struggle to raise the kids he left behind. .

I was agnostic, believing in some, perhaps God, I knew not. Twice, I prayed for healing of people who the doctors said needed a 'miracle' to survive. Both times this God, unknown to me answered my prayers, and a miracle of healing occurred. Yet I still did not give praise to God, nor believe. Then, a decade or so later, I was desperate. My life was going nowhere, and I was severely depressed. I could see a wicked world. Suddenly, I heard a voice in my ear saying, "Why don't you read the Bible?" Intrigued, I searched my bedroom, and found an old New Testament. I read, and believed. I've never stopped searching for God since... There have still been tough times. Following Christ brings severe opposition from the world sometimes... But I'm never turning back... ...ive found the most beautiful thing in the world in Christ.

I first heard this from a friend and found it again today when I needed it the most. Indeed God has a purpose for every pain that we suffer from. The more you want Jesus in your life, the more He will conform you into His character. Life with Jesus is not easy but it is always worth it. He binds up our wounds and creates beauty from our ashes. God is good all the time. I was severely depressed for 3 years. I attempted suicide twice and fortunately failed both times. I had done research and I had a few different plans for how I was going to try a third time. Then God stepped in. I was depressed because I was lonely, and I was lonely because I lost all my friends. Then He gave me my best friend in the whole world. I love him to death and just this morning I was texting him. He was one of the greatest blessings God ever gave me, and after meeting him I remembered how to do things that I hadn't done in years. I remembered how to smile. I remembered how to laugh and have fun, and I learned what love felt like. Not the kind of romantic love we see in the movies, but true love. The love I have for someone who's like a brother to me. With God's help I overcame depression and loneliness and suicide. Right when the enemy had me God showed me just how kind and how powerful he is. To anyone reading this, God loves you just as much as all his other children. He loves you regardless of your ethnicity, your nationality, your citizenship, your gender identity, your sexual orientation, or anything else. God rescued me, he'll rescue you too.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year, for the following months this song along with strong enough by Matthew West became my anthems as I cried out to God because I honestly didn't know how to pray. A year and a half later, these are still my songs when times get hard but God has remained faithful through it all.

I lost my mom to cancer in 2008 and it was only the Lord who gave me the strength to get through that major storm in life. It was my faith and peace in Him that helped me, and the entire time He was holding my hands! Let us always thank the Lord for always being there with us at all times!!
Anxiety attacks again and it hurts so bad that I cannot think properly. But I know God is always at my side to guide me to over all of these. It’s been on my loop lately (end of Sept 2024) 😊 I used to listen to this when I went through addiction & had to fight like all hell for my daughter. That was years ago, but it’s been on my loop since I lost my Pap in July. He was my everything and was there for my husband & I at our worst; and he loved his great granddaughter with everything in him. He got to see her come home & us turn it all around. I’m 33- and he’s my first loss/ grief I’ve gone through and I had a whole playlist called “Pap” and this is a part of it.

I watched my 9 year old niece be baptized last winter and the band began to play "Hallelujah" and the lines "it's a cold and broken Hallelujah" brought tears to my eyes. Her daddy had lost his aggressive fight with Lukemia just 4 months earlier. Sometimes life is a cold and broken Hallelujah. Her daddy loved the Lord and would have loved to see her dedicate her life to the Lord. Her baptism was such a joyous and sorrowful experience at the same time. This song is seriously comforting as we walk through the loss of our loved one and struggle to raise the kids he left behind. .

I've never stopped searching for God since...
There have still been tough times.
Following Christ brings severe opposition from the world sometimes...

God is good all the time. I was severely depressed for 3 years. I attempted suicide twice and fortunately failed both times. I had done research and I had a few different plans for how I was going to try a third time. Then God stepped in. I was depressed because I was lonely, and I was lonely because I lost all my friends. Then He gave me my best friend in the whole world. I love him to death and just this morning I was texting him. He was one of the greatest blessings God ever gave me, and after meeting him I remembered how to do things that I hadn't done in years. I remembered how to smile. I remembered how to laugh and have fun, and I learned what love felt like. Not the kind of romantic love we see in the movies, but true love. The love I have for someone who's like a brother to me. With God's help I overcame depression and loneliness and suicide. Right when the enemy had me God showed me just how kind and how powerful he is. To anyone reading this, God loves you just as much as all his other children. He loves you regardless of your ethnicity, your nationality, your citizenship, your gender identity, your sexual orientation, or anything else. God rescued me, he'll rescue you too.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year, for the following months this song along with strong enough by Matthew West became my anthems as I cried out to God because I honestly didn't know how to pray. I lost my mom to cancer in 2008 and it was only the Lord who gave me the strength to get through that major storm in life.
It was my faith and peace in Him that helped me, and the entire time He was holding my hands! Let us always thank the Lord for always being there with us at all times!!
Anxiety attacks again and it hurts so bad that I cannot think properly. But I know God is always at my side to guide me to over all of these. And I will always thank Him for not living my side everytime when I'm feeling down. Thank you God, I know everything happens for a reason and I neee to endure all of this to make me a better person. I will at it one day and say to my self that I did it, I surpass all the challenges.
