    Safe towing can mean many things and has a list longer than the trailer you are towing. Braking early, giving distance and towing cameras are a few examples of many that can help you tow safely.
    When towing with the Fastway® e2™ Hitch, which combines weight distribution and sway control, proper weight distribution will dramatically affect your towing safety.
    The e2 hitch’s weight distribution design transfers trailer tongue weight back to the axles of the tow vehicle and acts like a bridge that alleviates the load being put on the rear axle and distributes it back to the front axle of the tow vehicle. This action helps keep the tires on the road, which gives improved steering, braking control, and helps reduce stressful towing situations, and works to keep you safe on the road.

    Can't believe how many people that are towing... Don't know what your video just showed. You are making the highways safer. Great stuff, thanks for posting.

    Helpful video. Having a downloadable PDF of the measurement table would be really useful to add to this video.

    Should the measurements and adjustments of the Weight distribution hitch be done before or after the bed of the truck is loaded with contents? Firewood, chairs, coolers. I try to keep things in the bed vs in the camper.

      I would adjust after your truck is fully loaded. That way you get the most accurate numbers, but if you aren't adding too much weight after you should also be fine!

      If you aren't towing a trailer I don't see any need for a hitch with trailer sway (:

    How do I determine when to adjust the washer versus the brackets?

    • @FastwayTrailer
      @FastwayTrailer  2 года назад

      Always adjust the washers first to level your trailer. If you still need more adjustment after that then you can consider moving the brackets.

    What are the symptoms of over distribution?

    • @FastwayTrailer
      @FastwayTrailer  Год назад

      Here are a few!
      The rear of your tow vehicle sags when the trailer is hooked up. You experience trailer sway. Your tow vehicle's headlights point upward. You find it difficult to steer or stop your rig.
