      Guardians fan here definitely a great series. Yankees earned the right to go to the world series. Difference in the series to me was timely hitting and pitching. Yankees made key hits which were home runs, Guardians didn't. Both teams played a series which is an instant classic.

    Yankee fan here and let me tell you that these games were all nail-biter. Guardians gave the Yankees a run for their money and no Cleveland fan should be disappointed at all. Yes, they didnt make it to the dance but it was a hell of a showdown. Yankees just wanted it more at the end. Cleveland is going to be a really dangerous club next year. Stay tuned!

      Hypotheticals are so bad because if the Yankees never sent Torres first inning we could have scored maybe more than 1, also what happens if u walk Stanton & jazz gets a base hit or more. It was the right call to pitch to Stanton who Tanner was doing amazing against.

    • @PepeSifuentes
      @PepeSifuentes 6 дней назад

      @@AmorFatiMementoMori We will agree to disagree. In baseball you play the matchups, and although Stanton had strikeout before once he gets to 3 -2 you walk him, that is old school textbook baseball, if Chisholm homers then so be it. But you don’t allow the hottest player to hit a home run with 2 bases open and a batter that is 0 for the series behind him. ✌️

    Oh stanton is up and first base is open we need a double play. Let's pitch to him. This guy had a blindfold on the whole series. Not trusting his starters enough, not pitching or handling the bullpen correctly. Not walking guys. Not running bases enough. It wasn't lack of talent it was situational hitting and strategy and playing scared. Every game was winnable for cleveland. I expected 7 games really

    Tough ask for the Gards and any other team when such a ridiculous difference in payrolls (Over 200 Million). Until it's fixed this is what it will be. Look at the top payrolls and who is left in the playoffs. There is no defense to this argument, just an unfair disadvantage to all the smaller cities.

    Stephen Vogt made two terrible decisions in two games by deciding to pitch to Stanton who was hittong nothing but homers instead of walking him with first base open. What a jerk Vogt is. That's why the intentional walk is allowed. Use it as there is no shame, because other teams use it and win games. They looked like the old Cleveland Indians again.
