Hello everyone and thank you Cathy and Ivan for such a wonderful video and for taking time to visit the dojo in Meiji Jingu (Shiseikan) with me. This dojo is quite special as it's the dojo practitioners go to sit their teaching exams (renshi, kyoshi) so the whole area has a quite an overwhemling atmosphere. Being there with Cathy and Ivans smiling faces really made the practice relaxed and enjoyable ❤
This is an awesome collaboration. I have been following the maai perspective since its inception and of course, Jess is a fellow kiwi so I have to follow her! Awesome guys!
The discipline and stamina required for this are hard to comprehend. I'd never heard of Ms. Gerrity. Now she has me reading about things like ikigai and finding my own ibasho, probably with fly fishing:).

Fascinant
Wonderful video! I appreciated the quiet. No narrator babbling. Very little ambient noise. Great having a look at the dojo and Jess practicing.
So glad you enjoyed the video! It was a wonderful experience for us to be there.
Love kyudo, I want to do it
Well made video! Congrats!
Very interesting video…i would have liked to see the hits. Those targets looked very small. Holding an arrow while shooting looks hard
Targets are 36cm across and distance is 28m
