Thanks Lauren, it's necessary to understand that Infj types are not always the sunny person the people expect us to be. I've found myself that being stressed out is a harsh thing to handle sometimes.

It's not always easy to see through people. For example, it took me decades to figure out my ex-friend is a narcissist. He looks nice and charming and everyone likes him so I ignored many red flags ☹

    I am a Heyoka INFJ
I know that we are as human as the next person.
Having said that I don’t think we are stubborn.
We know we see patterns. We know others don’t. We just want time to watch the pattern to make sure we are truly incorrect about something before we change our view on something.
I believe that we are too much of the perfectionist to go down the stubborn path just to not change on something

One of the top intellectually stimulating topics of mine.
#1 It's not about knowing all, it's about always having a back up plan because of our Ni. We don't follow what is right, we make things right.
#2 I can't understand why everyone talks about us and the narcissist. I don't agree that to be highly empathic means that you are highly susceptible to narcissist because empathy is a feeling, but the things in real are always a combination between feeling and emotions and hard rationality and remember, we INFJs are too emotional for the thinkers and too rational for the feelers, that is absolutely true. Empathy is an ability to put yourself in other peoples shoes, but we have that Ti - introverted thinking as a third function. It's all question to what degree we have developed it and to what degree we have thought to trust ourselfs instead of selfblaming. Yes, I do selfblame, but I experience it inwardly, I don't make myself vulnerable because of that.
#3 Understanding - yes, compassionate - I never blame myself for being cold when I'm running low on energy or have a stressfull task to do at the moment. If a person is special for me I'll always make a space in my schedule for him.

Self-judging. I remember once showing my oldest friend a housecoat I had made, and I said that it wasn't perfect. And my friend looked at me and said, 'I don't know how you live with yourself.'

Good Character + Bad Circumstances = Compassion in INFJs. Bad Character + Bad Circumstances ≠ Compassion in INFJs. We are not always compassionate. We judge people by the content of their characters, not by their woes. This modern idea that people always need to be compassionate is bugging me no end, since we INFJs get played like Stradivariuses by narcissists. I don't feel bad for people in bad circumstances (especially those drowning in self pity and guilt triggering tactics) until I know more about them.

Every now and then I wonder whether it could be a good idea to change the game and play the narcissists instead ... There are things they're good at, like getting in touch with people and networks, spreading information (gossiping) and so on.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but is it true that INFJs have sharp shaped noses? Kinda birdy. Two close INFJs in my life have those kinds of noses:]
