2024 Honda CB200X - Detailed Review | Better than Suzuki V-Strom 250? | Pros and Cons

  • The Honda CB200X is based on the Hornet 2.0 although with styling that is inspired by the CB500X that is sold through Honda’s BigWing showrooms. So, the CB200X gets a half-fairing that features faux air vents on either side and houses a full-LED headlamp that has been borrowed from the Hornet.
    It also gets a tinted windscreen and knuckle guards that come with built-in LED turn signals. Moreover, the CB200X also features a a raised handlebar, engine sump guard, and upswept exhaust as well a comfier split seat setup to complete its touring character. While the changes to the bodywork set it apart from its street bike version, the Honda CB200X offers the same list of features. It gets a full-LED headlamp, tail lamp and turn signals. Honda has also fitted it with a full-digital instrument cluster like the Hornet 2.0.

      @@garyleo85 ...aur power bhi kam nahi hai dost, 0 to 60 3.5 sec aur 0 to 100 sirf 11 sec mei pakdti hai aur 130 ki top speed bhi hai aur uske bawzood bhi 40 se 55 ki average deti hai, maintenance behad Kam hai kyonki only 2 valves n air cooled engine hai, yahan tak ki oil filter bhi nahi hai to reduce the maintenance cost and headache.😊😊

    Jab Tak honda wale hornet aur cb200x mei blutooth, USB charger, optional dual ABS aur better n brighter headlight nahi denge tab Tak in bikes ka kuch nahi ho sakta , sirf accha engine hone se kuch nahi hota customers features bhi maangte hain, ye koi sasti bikes nahi hain 2 lakh ke aas paas prices hain to features Dene hi chahiye Honda ko😠😠😢😢

      Bas yehi farak hai indian brands aur Japanese mai Japanese bikes ko aap dekhoge abhi features kuch nahi hai but refined engine jo apko bhot smooth rides dega wahi features apko attract krte hai jiska bhot zayada use aap shayad daily na bhi kro!

    Great Video had just few things to clarify, this is perceive as an adventure motorcycle but it is not exactly one of them. It falls in the same category as the Dominar/Versys or any Tourer. Hence, it has 17 inch wheels all around. Also, the fuel range that i have been getting on this motorcycle with mix city and highway riding with luggage and a pillion is 43-45 kmpl, which makes the tank range to be around 500ish kms. Also, there isn't need of bluetooth features tbh on the bike, it will be better to have a USB charging and a grab rail with base to mount top box from the factory. Overall, this has left quite an impression on me and hence i keep on using it. Hope to have your ride impression soon and hope that you ride with the mindset of it being an tourer and not off/soft roader. P.s. if you google the most powerful 180 cc motorcycle in India, it shows hornet as the rank 1. IDK why honda called this a 200x and hornet v2.0. keep going!!!

    People always Miss-understand CB200x
    CB200X is a Touring Focused bike which can do little Soft-Offroading ,
    It's not a off-road or Adventure focused bike like Xpulse or V-storm
    And currently it's one of the most affordable Touring Bike one can buy as the Price is decently competitive but the only Major draw-back is that there is still no Dual-channel ABS and gimmick features like BT connectivity
    That's the only reason that a very few number of buyers opt for the CB200X
    Same story goes with the Hornet 2.0 as currently It's Price is same as the 160cc bikes like NS160, N160, RTR160 but again lack of Dual Channel ABS and weird Colour scheme is killing the sales

    surprisingly honda seems to be quite reasonable in cost of parts. Compared to hero. I.e The fully synthetic engine oil {in hero} costs around 1100. For 1 ltr.
    But Honda sells the 1 ltr fully synthetic oil for around 600 something.
    Am I right?
    On the other hand hero sells it's 200cc longer wheelbase bigger suspension vehicle x pulse for around 1.78lkh. compared to Honda selling a smaller wheel base, with nominal suspension travel and that to with too much hard suspension s {as described by the users} and with smaller engine for around 1.73lkh. Honda seems to be costly.
    What's your view?
    And the maintenance on hero isn't that high. On the other hand I don't really know how much cost Honda charges after the free services to the adventure category bikers.

    Honda 200X Need to be upgrades these or its a failure in market
    1. Ground clearance must be 185+mm for urban tours & explores
    2. USB Charging port must for tours
    3. Real time mileage indicator must along with fuel to be empty at ---km
    4. Seat height must be 795mm to be suitable for all Indians
    5. Wind shield viser must be good support & coverage
    6. Riding modes important
    7. Dual channel ABS must
    8. Real wheel disc must be double caliber system
    9. Engine guard should be on non rustic metal
    10. Rear seat pillion holder must be like unicorn for tours enhanced with pillion
    11. Language carrier optional must
    12. Rear wheel covered mud guard must for tours on rainy days
    13. The engine must be atleast oil cooled for long running endurance
    14. 6 speed gear box must for tourings to increase mileage & stress free long tour rides
    15. Rear seat must be more space for pillion comfortable on long rides
    16. Fuel tank must be 14+litres for tours
    17. Indicator must be seperate not in the handle bar nuckle guard
    18. Tour explorers must have smooth suspension (not to be like stripper side of sports bike)
    Honda must be rethink it again for upgrading to complete the all expectations

      As a first bike or beginner it is a good option but if you are already into bikes looking for something similar Xpulse might be a better option or go for Suzuki

      @@AbhishekCGour ohh sorry my bad! 🥲🥲This is a good one to start of with! Only thing is this is a kind of ADV a bit tall motorcycle that might uncomfortable you in the city traffic if you have to start then go with the naked one eg. Honda CB330F or CB300R is a very good choice!

      I am 6ft tall and a bit hefty toh shayad I can manage 200X, because Ronin aur NS250, dono thodi choti lag rahi thi under me, when I went to their showroom, only F250 was comfortable.

    Honda cannot survive just because of their engine. The standards of biking are very high in Bharat now. They should now move one step forward by focusing on dual channel abs, long travel suspension, better pillion comfort too, keeping the legacy of their engine refinement.

    Honda and suzuki can do better in offering not only good engines with bit more power and work on better sitting stance by bringing the gear / break lever a bit more front with the kind of price tag they offer.. even with yamaha too it's same.. premium price with less offering.. Japanese companies looting money from Indians 😢😡

    Shitty Honda, without efforts there's no survival in the Indian market. We have proper adventure and more capable bike Xpulse in same budget. We have V-Strom 250 as adventure tourer if we extend our budget. Kyu le yee make up wali hornet?
