Sous vide device would be a good idea. Got my wife and mother one for another occasion. My mom really loves it. I was hoping it would inspire my wife to try to cook, but didn’t work. So, I’m using and like it, and still doing all the cooking.

That’s a great idea! We should have included one, but it slipped our mind. We have our Anova unit on the counter in the kitchen and use it daily to thaw vacuum sealed bags of bbq for lunches and dinner.

My advice after 20 years of marriage: gifts that make her life easier like kitchen gear or cleaning products, etc. are nice and appreciated. But if you really want a great gift get her something she has a passion about. For example: my wife bought herself vinyl cutting machine (think Cricket) because she liked what she could create with it, so as a gift I bought her an embroidery machine (still consumer grade, but very nice still the same). She has loved it. She often tells me she wants a new one with a bigger hoop. I need to figure out how to budget one with a bigger hoop. But my advice remains, the best gifts are things she is interested in. Tools to make her life easier are just fine.

For our outdoor kitchen, you can price all of the doors, drawers, griddles and grills at rcsgasgrills.com - that’s where we ordered all of our gear. If you use the code “BBQLAB” in your cart, that code will get you a “free gift” that I know you’ll enjoy. We found that most of the cost of the entire build came in the grills and griddles, followed by the doors and drawers. If you use less doors, you can do it for less, but we love having the storage space.
