By golly I think she is a keeper… Good job TractorGirl… I love watching my wife drive our tractor’s… Thanks for sharing this fun little adventure with us. Cheers
I'll pass your comment on to her Gus. Yeah...I guess I'll keep her around a little bit longer...LOL. I'm sure your wife does just as good too. Thank you for the visit today my friend.
A Family tractor video with action, engineering skills, thrills, chills and Missus in control? I mean how can you top this video? It has so much interesting content including history and even romance! I can hardly wait for the mysterious vid 3 to find out what’s on that trailer! Your fans are chomping at the bit! What other tractor channel produces intrigue, history, skills, fixity, freezer bags, wood production and homemade devices created out of what many would consider items unworthy of storage? Not to mention sheet metal production that makes the most skilled sheet metal experts students? The variety of tractors, machines, tools and fastening possibilities is unmatched but admired worldwide wide! The fashions that should require a runway! A tv pilot should truly follow a series! Well it’s early in the morning, as I fell into dreamland early only to see this part two, which eagerly keeps me looking forward to drippin, tippin and sippin in a few short hours! In the meantime I’ll go on but perhaps just too excited trying my best to imagine part three and saying poo poo to another hour or two of sleep in favor of early drippin! Warning: expectations created by the mystery of part three can cause in some a ya! Good Squeezez for staring role and more! DJO p.s. This video brings to my mind a poem my Grandfather taught me but I have absolutely no idea why it came up in my mind like so many other things. The poem goes like this and if you have any ideas about how this could happen, let me know would ya? WHAT A WONDERFUL BIRD THE PELICAN, WHOES BEAK CAN HOLD MORE THAN HIS BELLY CAN, I WONDER HOW THE HELHECAN .
Oh yeah DaveyJO...the Missus is in charge all the time !! She just lets me THINK I'm in control. LOL. Hot doggies, you hit all the bases with the subject matter once again. I'm still at a loss for the right words to reply. But one thing for sure, if your words act as applause for the shenanigans we pull down in 44-land, you for sure applaud the loudest my friend !! Its all good and we appreciate how those brain cells put themselves out for the channel. The Missus gets the credit for any fun or excitement though because I'd have just been the normal boring old self moving something rusty from one place to another !! So thank you my friend, take care and keep the home fires burning...it got a little chilly last night. I came in for a JO-refill and saw you dropped by in the meantime !!
Your Wife is a great helper. My Son in-law is to fast and messes things up. I could write a book : ) But he does try. As always my friend I liked and shared. All my very best to Both of you.
Well, thank you for the kind words Bobby. Slow and steady is the way to go with this old stuff for sure. I am glad to have the help and I kinda enjoy the stuff she comes up with during the recording too. Most of the time I can't hear what she's saying though... Take care and thank you for sharing. Have a great afternoon my friend.
Good job guys looks like another successful task. I think the misses is taking over the Kubota duties she handled it very well and thanks for the history lesson on John Deere very interesting take care and have a great week
I told her to be careful with the grill on the JD....bend it up and it'll be expensive to find another one !! That put it all in perspective for her. LOL. She enjoys earning a little more about things she gets interested in. I hope the weather is as fine up there as we are having down here Tom.
Man yeah Mr Wendell, you two make an absolute amazing team!! Only six months 🤣🤣🤣 Nope she said 2 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Looking fwd to seeing what you have stashed in the truck!! Thank you and the Missus for bringing us along!! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 And tell her she looked like a pro on them both!! 😉😉
I will relay the message to the Missus for you Nelson. One thing about it, I gotta get up way before breakfast to stay ahead of her...and it usually doesn't work anyway. LOL. Have a great day my friend. Btw, I did a tictok on the load in the truck a while back. I'd do more shorts but they aggravate me too much. Never could quite get 'em figured out right.
I had one gentleman as me if we scripted our videos or practiced first. Hahaha....She wouldn't want me to be able to plan an answer...she loves to stump me too much.
Excellent job! Nothing broken, nobody hurt and everything where you wanted it. I sure wouldn't want my Wife operating one of my tractors! I've seen her drive!!! 😂😂😂
Hahahaha....I'm sure your Wife would do just fine in this case !! The bad thing was how soft it was right there. I thought at first it was solid enough for her to lift the loader against a rear tire cleat and give me a shove and it'd roll downhill all the way. But no, it was too soft. I had her place the loader under the cultivator mounting bolts on front for safety.
If I remember my research, the Deere family stayed in charge of the company where into the 1950s, if not the 1960s. They were hesitant to enter into the tractor business, with the idea they would be the company to provide farm implements to the other tractor companies as well as keep providing implements for horses, etc. Do a google search for Theo Brown John Deere. He was one of the engineers during John Deere's effort to enter the tractor wars. He had about 158 patents credited to his name and he designed Deere's Power Lift system.
That's cool Terry. There's tons of history out there on all the brands. Theo Brown is another name I've not heard of. Just think of all those guys just making a living that designed stuff that effects our lives for better or worse every time we get on a tractor !! And they did it for a few bucks an hour too. I bet if engineers made 30 or 40 grand back then it was super big money.
Hahahaha....I did a tictok on it a while back. It was a tough unload even with the hoists. Too wide, too long and too tall...but we got it off safely anyway !!
Great to have a tractor with hydrostatic drive, for the missus to handle, as working a clutch would be a chore to push the thing. She has a great sense of humor, and her common sense comments are my favorite. LOL
Good morning Powrguy and thank you for the thoughful comment about my #1 helper. For sure she keeps me on my toes most of the time. Enjoy the day my friend.
John Deere didn't move to Moline when he first came to Illinois. He first lived in Grand Detour in 1836, and started a blacksmith shop there, where he built the first steel plows.
Yeah...I'm not a knowledgeable JD guy at all. I did know he started out with the plow design though. The Missus was happy to report what she remembered with a few minutes research. Btw, I think I still have an old 6' tandem Grand Detour pull type disc back in the woods.
Dain was John Deere's chief engineer until he died young. I believe John Deere acquired Waterloo Boy shortly after Dain passed and the rest, as they say, is history.
Good information Matt. Dain is a name I've never heard before. If what ever happened or whatever ailment he had were today, he'd probably survive it. Cool input my friend. Thank you.
Hahahaha...she's funny, when she get interested in something she goes and reads up on it. Unlike me, I just stay uninformed and wait until she learns it all and tells me the good parts. (-;
Good Evening Sir, Nice Subluminal Message From Your Lovely Lady ( too much stuff !!! ) ; ) Nice History Lesson !!! No I will not film you ( YES !!! ) : ) Slow Win The Race !!! That is a lots of Things : ) Great Team Work and Arguing 4-6 months and 2 yrs LOL !!! Cheers
Well Dave, she has her own take on things, that's for sure. And guess what....we didn't park it next to her flower bed !! LOL. I still think there's a wrong date code on the other video she checked on...(-;
No, that's just a round concrete pad from an old Carrier air conditioning unit used as a stepping stone. The others there are the same except either square or rectangle. Our septic is out the back and pretty far away.
Seeing that she told us a bit about John Deere,.. now tell me, where'd the 'slogan' of " nothing runs like a Deere", come from,.. I'll give you a hint, apparently it was said by none other than Henry Ford,.. question now is why did he say that?
By golly I think she is a keeper… Good job TractorGirl… I love watching my wife drive our tractor’s…

And the Missus said “and don’t you forget it!!!”
Nice team work!! 😁👍
Good Morning Zane. I'm always glad to have her lend me a bit of a hand out here.
Wasn't expecting a history lesson. Nice!
John Deere did in fact have a model C. Very hard to find and rare today. I saw a beautiful one at the Classic Green show in Lebanon TN last June.
That's something else I didn't know. I never even heard of a JD C. Gotta be more rare than the 330...which is pretty darn rare !!
It's great having a wife that will help. My wife Helps me out alot we been married over 49 years. 👍
Well Tony, we are running a close second. I think its been 48 years for us this July. She's always been willing to help when possible.
Your Wife is a great helper. My Son in-law is to fast and messes things up. I could write a book : ) But he does try. As always my friend I liked and shared. All my very best to Both of you.

buen trabajo la señora
La señora me dijo que le diera las gracias por el cumplido.
Awesome show my friend and Missus, always fun watching your videos
Good Morning my friend....she adds a bit of a flair to my normal boring videos for sure. Thanks for visiting once again Jan.
Very interesting!
Good job you guys.
Thanks Gary...now I just gotta find the time to get the 50 back on line and ready to move on its own !!
Good job guys looks like another successful task. I think the misses is taking over the Kubota duties she handled it very well and thanks for the history lesson on John Deere very interesting take care and have a great week

It’s always nice to have a good helper
Yessir, I agree. She's always willing to lend a hand when the weather is nice. Now rainy and cold snowy weather and I'm on my own !! (-;
Didn’t break anything 🍻 that’s a good day 👍🤠
Hahahaha....that's the way we look at it too !! I have enough to work on, don't need to add to the list. (-;

You guys are the real deal. Props 🙏✅
I had one gentleman as me if we scripted our videos or practiced first. Hahaha....She wouldn't want me to be able to plan an answer...she loves to stump me too much.
She done good! Tractor Queen.
Looks like a natural doesn't she...?? She did good on the pig poker a month ago too. Thanks for stopping by Mike.
Good job!
Another one bites the dust !! Job, that is.
Excellent job! Nothing broken, nobody hurt and everything where you wanted it. I sure wouldn't want my Wife operating one of my tractors! I've seen her drive!!! 😂😂😂

You two work together like a well oiled machine
Well Neil, the squeaky wheel gets the most grease....and she's a bit squeaky on occasion. (-;

Hey Wendell….
I got my 9N up and running.
Just did a video on it.
Awesome Gary, I'll have to check it out. I'm going to assume you had the buzz saw running with it.....??
@@tractorman4461 , good morning Wendell.
It is back on the tractor but haven’t run it yet.
That will likely be the next video.
Well, that was great. You both are a couple of cute kids! Keep up the good work and keep on a grinnin'.
I was tickled to have the help on such a mild February day too !! Thanks for the fun comment this morning my friend !!
The missus did a good job. Now Im wanting to find out what is on the truck!
Hahahaha....I did a tictok on it a while back. It was a tough unload even with the hoists. Too wide, too long and too tall...but we got it off safely anyway !!

Team work wins every time.☆☆☆☆☆
Makes it a much smoother operation too. I usually have to tie the steering wheel, move, adjust and tie again.

Tractor man and tractor momma 44. Cool video 🚜😁
Luckily it was a nice day and not blowing cold wind and/or snow. She likes helping in good weather.
Thank you.
Seen concrete lid!
Hahaha...it was misleading being a round pad.
The Missus did such a good job you should buy her her own tractor
Hahahahaha.....I'll tell her your suggestion. We will see how well that goes over !!
Tried teaching my wife to rake hay but she couldn't grasp the concept. She is good at other things though.
I guess we all have our strong points Dan. I bet she bakes a pie much better than you or I would though !! (-;
@@tractorman4461 absolutely!
I think John deere would approve !!
I'd hope so anyway. He'd probably like it better if I'd get this thing back on line though.
Didn't know you were married to an encyclopedia😂😂
Hahahaha...she's funny, when she get interested in something she goes and reads up on it. Unlike me, I just stay uninformed and wait until she learns it all and tells me the good parts. (-;

Having the missis is a big help sometimes
No doubt Keith. She's always been willing to lend a hand with some of the stuff I get into out here.
They did make a John Deere C
Yeah, another comment addressed that. I'd never heard of a C model before !! Thanks for watching and adding input.
Great job u two.Did u just run over ur Septic tank?
No, that's just a round concrete pad from an old Carrier air conditioning unit used as a stepping stone. The others there are the same except either square or rectangle. Our septic is out the back and pretty far away.
Well Wendell the missus is a lot of help isn’t she?
Heck yeah Dave. She's helped me with flooring to roofing and virtually everything in between !!
Seeing that she told us a bit about John Deere,.. now tell me, where'd the 'slogan' of " nothing runs like a Deere", come from,.. I'll give you a hint, apparently it was said by none other than Henry Ford,.. question now is why did he say that?
That's interesting Reg...I have no idea but I'm sure we will find out....!! LOL
Another job off the lists . 😊
At least this was a much simpler job to accomplish. I need to get it in the shop...I've got the parts now I just have to make the time.
