Not sure if you'll even see this comment but just wanted to let you know I'm new to PoE and your guide for your build and all the informative videos have made getting into the game a lot easier - I'm playing the flicker strike CI build and clearing t15 maps pretty easily with half decent gear, and I appreciate all the helpful insight from all your videos :)
Thank you so much Snoo for always making awesome, guide style content. Your content is a fresh breath of air compared to all the other streamers that are permanently complaining and never making useful content anymore. Keep it up! It's a key differentiator on the lens you are giving to the gam
This is a lesson that I learned the hard way when i first followed your PF in POE1. Even with this searching, it's still insanely expensive to craft this gear. But I knew this going in - the problem is that it's still near impossible at times. For example, my helmet I went broke attempting to craft and still ended up with nothing because we don't have a crafting bench in POE2. The end result is that I don't have anywhere near as much ES as Snoo does.
It is easier than vanilla poe1 by a lot mate. Because exalts are cheap. So go to town. And the market is not bad, and map sustain isnt an issue either. I really wonder how much poe1 many of the vocal critics actually played...
they said it's be easier in understanding, not easier to get perfect 6 tmax items bro. They never said perfect items would be easier to craft. And it's good, because good items need to be scarce, especially if early access will be like 1 year.
Yea, that's a great idea, i've done some of that to get my starting currency. Then i went to farm with rarity, but on melee slams in the end game it's just pure torture... I don't know i'll wait for some changes, i just don't want to play PoE 2 while everybody else are playing PoE 1 in PoE 2 and jack up the economy...
Pillar of the caged god, for a couple exhalt I realized this staff is wayyyyyy better than any high dps one going for several divines. Learned this after testing this item against couple rods that I bought from 1 divines all the way to 10 divines.
hey snoo at 9:30 you mention you want both light flat and cold flat on the ring because you are using cotb. but i read somewhere that poe2 only gives you the dmg increase for the element you convertion into, ie cold in this case. still a bit confused on this.
PoE has always had periods of crazy prices. It doesn't mean you can't work around it (most of it). Minimal investment can currently get a build into t15 farming. That being said, the current inflation is definitely off the charts for certain things. I agree that some of the pricing is absolutely absurd. RMT is already far more common in PoE2 than it ever was in PoE1, which is making the economy exponentially worse. It's only 2 weeks into early access though, so I am sure GGG will gradually introduce solutions to this as the game approaches release.
The bell ignites and even other attacks can as well. I have Climate Change annointed and I have 12% gain as extra fire damage through a timelost diamond jewel.
@@snoobae8553 Do you have to do anything special to get the time lost caches? and do they appear in the normal chest room? did uber 4-5 times now and have never seen a time lost cache, info on the internet is scarce
Hey Snoo - what level do you recommend we be at for each of your build iterations? For example, what do you consider to be mid-end game mapping vs. late end-game.etc? And when do you think is the best level for us to snag our final ascendancy? I've been doing fine without it because I crafted a very nice weapon.
Grats on your weapon. I think it’s hard to answer that question because it’s the quality of stats and gear play a major toll. I’d say late endgame is being able to clear 15s with ease. Mid endgame is having got into 15s but still struggling a bit. Early is prior to 15s and working up the tiers of maps.
@@snoobae8553 Thanks, that helps put your descriptions into perspective.Btw - I picked up an Ingenuity off trade. Wow...what a massive improvement that had on my MF. Also found a crazy mana regen ring with lightning dmg and rarirty for cheap andthe currency is rolling in.
I haven't really been crafting like that. Seems like such a tiny chance to start something good. I just pick up rare rings and rare version of the best bases that I find on the ground. Also, higher tier drops are good to pick up.
Got any solutions to the amount of crashes it causes? build is incredibly good but im loosing a fair too many maps to unexpected errors, granted it may just be from breach. switching to ritual might solve it but havent tried
if you going full crit gothic is the way, 1.5 base crit is a lot if you going for 80%+ but all have similar stats in expert, slicing is i think the highest base damage
About the only thing that seems worth doing to me that I will actually start doing, is lowest mod rerolled omens. Were around 7div each last I checked. Still crazy expensive though.
tons maybe if you are looking sub 1 div gear upgrade. If you have 5 div+ item in each slot, there literally no gear. I did the same tech as snoo, tho after like 300 failed staves I just bought one for 70 divines
I’m talking about what I did with extreme specificity. Many players are doing this with far less robust live searches. This gives them a chance to expand upon ‘what everyone is doing.’
@@snoobae8553 While I understand what you are saying, at this time, the game doesn't have a lot of depth to weapon itemization, so this exact strategy is what most "12-14 hours a day" players are doing. No hate, but being overly focused on "exposing yourself in a market" in early access is a massive meh as a long time watcher.
@@OmarAmerGGGI feel like your assumption that "everyone" = "12-14 hours a day players" suggests you don't understand what he is saying... The overwhelming majority of the player base is barely even at the end of the campaign. So explaining, with real-time demonstrations, how he is using the trade market in combination with a variety of crafting mechanics is likely useful to many players.
@@OmarAmerGGG This was useful to me and I play as soon as I get off work (5pm) to around 1am most days... Most people with full time jobs are not playing 12-14 hours a day, those players would be the minority, or children.
Trading in POE is the worst trading system of any game I've played in my 20+ years of playing video games. Everyday I log onto the game and start mapping, but then when I need to trade for something, I hop on over to the trade website and within 15 mins I just Alt + F4 the game. NO ONE responds to my whispers, and when they do they ask for a different price other than the listed price. Every day it's the same thing. Every day I try to trade, and every day I Alt + F4 out of frustration. The best way to play Path of Exile 2 is to create a SSF character and not bother with player interactions AT ALL. Play the game as you would a single player game and you'll find it much more enjoyable.
not wrong, the currency exchange is a step in the right direction. you can use that in trade league and not actually trade on the website and it's a bit nicer
Imagine coming to a 34 minute Crafting/Trading video to tell people how much you prefer not playing trade league.... Do you also go to SSF videos and complain about not being able to trade for the gear you "need"?

it's really cool to approach the game with a "Given how the game is right now, how can I make the most out of it"
Thank you for this my man. You are the best! I'm following your guide and love all these videos.
This intro, knowing that the gear is gone, hurts. Thanks for the trade strats

thank you for showing me how you trade! I learned a lot.
Remember when people were saying crafting and gearing in poe2 would be easier than poe1 ? yeah :)
It is easier from the mechanik. But its stupid RNG-based which sucks.
It is early access. Not a fan either all my gear comes from trade.
Most of my gear is from white items on the floor, because it's so expensive rn, every item is 1d+.
Just highlight the good bases and go to town.

Sekhemas for Time Lost Diamonds and Breach MF mostly

Why did you switch to cotb? Also does time lost jewel fire dmg worth it when you switch passive tree(no harness of element)
cotb is a nifty way to get huge freeze into the build. Especially nice if your items have flat lightning on them.
Do you recommend orbs of alchemy on white items? Or should i be slowly rolling them up one mod at a time to blue then rare etc.

It reached the point of no return viability for continuing to chaos spam. It lost one or more key rolls it needs to be good.

You're losing the entire map on a crash? I just lose a single portal.
Differs between players.
Random tip- you're using exile exchange (the trade site plugin) I would suggest closing that. Fixed crashing for me at least.

Does item level affect how the modifiers will be rolled?
It serves as a ceiling for how high a tier an item can roll. You can check affix tiers and their ilvl requirement on poe2db.
