I think some people are better at picking up subtle visual cues than others. I’m not a very visual person and I was confused during the first scene, but figured it out when she was talking to Silco about the firelight whacko with the pink hair. I think this show is also especially challenging for reactors because there is so much compacted into every frame… from visuals, to subtle dialogue cues. If you miss a second reacting it can be a big gap in context.
Just a thought though. Powder tagged along because Vi kept convincing her she was ready. When she said she wasn’t I think she actually would have stayed if it wasn’t for her discovering what the hex tech stones could do. Vi was honestly very justified because powder was literally the direct cause of milo and claggor dying.
The first time you see her face after a time skip, and we see Vi's face as a child before the current face. I played the game for years and I still got sucker punched by that, so it's understandable that people would be initially confused.
The girl with the Pink hair, the one who is part of the Firelights, isn't Vi. Yup, it's just a girl who reminded Jinx of Vi. They have not seen each other at this point since the night in episode 3.
don't worry about confusing the girl with Vi the first time I had to watch the scene 2 times to realize even though my father who was watching told me it wasn't the sister at first glance. (my old man saw Arcane). we can see that both cities changed but they are still conflicting, Powder/Jinx became a loose cannon that works for Silco and now controls the underworld with the Shimmer recognizing the difference with Piltober that is leaving them behind, we can see that Jace becomes the face of progress while Victor prefers to hide out of the spotlight, but now fame gives him new responsibilities just because the council does not want to close his businesses, Caitlyn with investigative skills wants to prove to everyone that she is not a rich girl who is just adornment in the plaza and turns down a position of privilege to take a chance on her own and meet Vi, someone who hates everything Caitlyn stands for.
I also thought the girl on the ship was Vi, but Jinx's conversation with Silco cleared that up for me. Her saying there was a girl with pink hair obviously meant she realised it wasn't actually Vi - just that the girl's similarity to Vi triggered the memories. If it was actually Vi, she would have said so instead of referring to her like a nobody.
Vi reaction "blaming" powder happened in the middle of everything, the pain, the ptsd of almost being killed and watching your whole family being murdered by accident.. it's not stretching to assume she would react that way being explosive the way she is and so angry and hurt about things.. vi deserves more empathy
Vi was the older sister, not only that but she was the closest thing to a mother Powder had left after losing their parents on the bridge, and yes she was traumatized but she was old enough to compartmentalize that trauma to an extent, Powder wasn`t hence the hallucinations and CPTSD flashbacks!
The girl in the boat at que beging wasn't Vi the one in the prison is Vi she is been there all this time. The one in the boat was some random girl that looks like Vi.

One thing I want to point out about that building blown up is that the only people hurt in the attack are enforcers, which, considering Jinx's background are always going to count as a dangerous enemies. Jinx is crazy, and willing to go pretty damn extreme, but the only people she actually tries to kill are clear enemies. ... She just doesn't always pay attention to collateral damage..
