It's wonderful you can actually make Drum and Bass from Dubstep track by adding Delay effect to get more delayed kicks and snares and speed up the tempo for individual deck.

Can this work for genre swaps too? but not at the drop ofc because that would be too obvious, but what about at the end of a drop you just play a new track with a diff bpm and genre an example would be lets say we are in an edm style around 126-128bpm, but I want to go to the trance classics and drop a track with lets say 130 or 140 bpm? is this a good idea or better to just beatmatch them and blend them in. considering the tracklist I can find songs that build up in bpm so I can do song1: 126, song2: 128, song3:130 and then song 4 is the genre swap from edm to trance 135bpm. Anyway great tutorial again!

For sure if you wan't to switch it up by 10bpm just get the phrase right of the one your dropping in, wouldn't change it up/or down in this way much beyond 10bpm though unless your dropping into to the Break of the new track without much going on, you don't wanna be slamming straight into the drop of a new track 30bpm higher for example, people would break LOL

U asked this 6 months ago but anyway: one way to do it with your example is riding the pitch up slowly during the tracks. Bring the 126 up a bit and have the 128 a bit slower mixing it in and then pitching the 128 track up to like 129 and then bring the 130 bpm track in and ride that up to like 132-133 and have teh 135 slower. This is just by doing classic blend mixing and how I've done it loads in sets. I don't see why this couldn't be used with drop mixing as well. U get a little bit more energy on the new track as ellaskins said, but the difference is a bit more subtle than going like 2 bpms up at once.
