I went shopping and played dozens of pianos. In my opinion, Petrof makes the best sounding sub 6’ pianos out there. I don’t know how they do it, but side by side they are richer than any others grand in that smaller size. Over 6’ I have different preferences, but for “house scale” pianos, the tone is spectacular.
