Sir if patient is found to have high uric acid levels on routine labs but no symptoms ever should we start urate lowering therapy and if yes what are the limits to start? Thank you
Had my grandson been given an MRI.l, when he complaied of a Migrane headache, it should be (Automatic) to be given a MRI, or at least a Cat-Scan!!!!! " He went from walking into the hospital, to having his Brain Herniate, beyond repair!" He was 13 yrs old! " It's Astounding, that this is not Automatically done, by the Hospitals! ( AUTOMATIC MRI)! "Would not have caused any hardship on the Hospitals to had this done, could have saved my grandson Life!" Hello i need urgent solution to ICP my son os on steroids he had a tumor removed two weeks later while still in hospital he deceloped coughing intense pain in his tail bone and legs tightening of the chest he is now in the ICU they dont know what is causing the interceanial pressure to keep risong he is on steroids antibiotics
I had/have icp. The original op was 23 and another 22. With meds I got it down to 16. Mine came from being overweight I weighed @300 lbs. I got my weight down to 200lbs but still suffer. When my icp was 23 I had speech problems, it was very pressured like a ms pt, and sentence structure could be off. I had balance problems and fear going downstairs or off curbs. I see floaters and have lightening war with my eyes when going to bed. I had a feeling of passing out too. Brain liquidifying headaches when bending over. Sometimes it feels like my skull is tearing and hurts to brush hair. Because I didn't have paplidema there was no surgical options. 100 lb weight loss improved but did not cure like I thought it would. Headaches are every bit the level of brain concussion. I stopped one of my meds because it gave me bells palsy. I feel pressure is going to go back up. I am over suffering. I'm ready for jesus
I have hydrocephalus and have two shunts implanted. I wanted to understand why I feel pain in head every morning which gets better when I get up. Your lecture really helped me understand the situation.
sir , i suffered from brain swelling because of Hyponatremia and water intoxication , My preFrontal cortex have been damaged due to swelling and compression by skull , How can i diagnose sir that how much preFrontal cortex have been damaged
Respected sir, is there a role of steroids in subdural hematoma ? Can mannitol decrease icp in sub dural hematoma? I have got both yes and no answers from my seniors....please clarify sir.
My father aged 73 years has glioblastoma grade 4. Though it is removed, yet doc said that even with radiation and chemo, he would survive only 12-15 months. And with no such therapy, only 4-5 months. It is sad to know the symptoms that my father will have to face due to increased intracranial pressure near the end of his life. I wish I can find a way to help him die peacefully. Well, your videos have been very helpful. Keep it up.
1 have problems with head pressure for 4days since i was in the gym and got it while lifting heavy and i was dizzy for the rest of the day ..And now i have some kind of headache and i feel pressure in the head and have slight less focus ..It's 4days since it started ..I want to know if I should go to the doctor and be worried ??. I have it probably due to high blood pressure from heavy lifting ..Thanks for answer

seizures can cause a further increase in ICP, thus we treat seizures to prevent worsening of the High ICP .

Accumulation of the fluid while lying down increases icp so causing pain which goes after some time
