Many axles and tires? Just warch some Videos of kahl heavy haulage or kübler in germany while moving transformators... they use up to 44 axles pairs only on the Trailers plus 4 8x4 snd 8x6 trucks...all in all 504 tires...😮 will they fit into one maintnance truck?😅
wow, now thats certainly something to watch. out of curiosity, does the engine heat increase by a lot during a load pull like this and as far as burning fuel, how many litres would it burning in a trip like this ?? absolutely loved watching this....awesome videos as always...

i drove 44 ton trucks in the uk for 30 years. i now live close to this road.in WA . i just dont get the very high revs of this kenworth can anyone explain!...
dwain pipe well 1 this is aussie and 2 they have to keep the momentum up to keep moving u stop with one of these you’ll be bogged down and have to start all over again and that’s what us drivers don’t want to do also seems like there on there jakes and going up hills
Its for pushing. If it acted as a braking unit the brakes would burn up. The lead tractor is attached to all the brakes on the trailer not the rear.. you can and do push with a single bar it requires a lot of concentration to keep the bar straight. I do this for a living..
Don't know what it is about these types of videos, but I very much enjoy watching heavy hauling, love trucks period.
Always wanted to operate one of these.
The 997 haul trucks are nice and simple to operate, same with the older Cat loaders and the dozers.

Can you imagine changing tires, brakes and bearings on that trailer ? They need a loaded tire service truck in the convoy just for maintenance.

With such a load one truck engine will pump 250l+ per 100 km through its engine...

What exactly is the role of the rear tractor unit? With that single pole attachment, I don't imagine it's for pushing.
