Definitely the best and most concise video on all of the internet for tying rebar. I've searched all over the place and this is by far the best ever.

heavy duty 9 “ Klein pliers you can go twice as fast and that goes for single and double wire. Or settle for nippers which gives a better yield to the wire than pliers. I like pliers for tying slab , nippers when building columns and shear wall cages in the column yard.

Your union guys use pliers and run with that shit. They're also tying rebar to rebar. Not flat stock to rebar. Another point, youre moving so much slower with that little sickle. Pliers allow for versatile ties, different saddles, snaps. Doubles. Shit you can't do with a twist toy.

That is used in military structures against military attacks and now made available to civilian construction civil engineers and they are not using it?

As a reinforcing ironworker, these ties were insufficient and the twisting was wrong. You pull up on wire to cinch it and then do a half twist to secure it. Your double wire ties should always be snug and the wire together. Your saddle ties were decent but could use some work.
