First time listening to Thamer commentate and I gotta say he's a fantastic play by play commentator. Hope he gets to be on the mic when the world tour rolls around
I have a lot of respect for Mercer. He beat all the predictions until the final but in reality, I would have liked a final between Lawkoridor and MkJavier. Congratulations to the latter who is an excellent player with Scropion. He quickly figured out Mercer's limited range and followed it up with perfect combos. I'm new to this channel and I'm learning a lot of things with these tournaments. thanks guys. I don't know the name of the guy presenting but he has a legendary voice!
Yeah Javier walked through everyone except the first guy on Baraka. I feel like Law would have put up a better fight then Mercer but Javier was just so dominant this tournament it was well played by him
Hated how Mercer played against 62. Watching how he abused Kenshis tools against a Havik that doesnt know how to counter it was like watching a villain win with backhanded methods
Man this game is amazing and I wish all the players much fun with mk1 👊🏻🔥 one of my favorite games this year. My last fighting game is pretty long time ago and it feels so nice to be back and learn the combos and enjoy to learn something new anytime.
Chill bro. This is not a step forward for fighting games any more than the iPhone getting USB-C 10 years late is a step forward for cell phones. They added an assist system to MK.
You can tell they took time with making every character on this roster and for the most part seems like every character has potential. Im having fun with this one so far!
And we don't even have the Day 1 patch yet, stuff will definitely change. Sareena is good as an all rounder but once you get into Shujinko, Darrius, Cyrax, Sektor Scorpion etc. that's when MK1's true potential is unlocked

Nice Rinzler is doing tournaments now. Love Mr Hatchapuri hope we see a lot from him on MK1. First saw him on Sik’s streams and he is really entertaining. His Noob gameplay was insane in MK11. Man he was so close to going through. Would love to see him win a tourney at some point.
What I’ve noticed is it looks like the characters are getting a lot of hits but then lose because their char don’t do as much normal damage (or so it seems).

the kenshi geras matchup looks HORRIBLE for geras, you can barely play neutral because sento covers a lot of space and geras’ strings have the reach of a trex arm
I was thinking of how the chip damage is kinda insane like he said but also characters like scorpion kinda need that chip damage to make up for basic and predictable kits/play styles
