This episode of Jeremy’s attitude and short fused temper got me really concerned. I can’t believe what that headset did to him Jeremy would never act that way on his own and he would never speak to Aelita and his friends so rudely. Even Ulrich’s temper and attitude isn’t that sour.
The thing I like about this episode besides the drama is that it emphasizes how far Jeremie is willing to go to save his friends (especially Aelita). The boy low key reminds me of Tony Stark (both are super geniuses who use technology to save the world, both have something of an obligation to save the world from disasters caused by their actions/inactions, both have a degree of snark, and are willing to go to some extremes to keep the people they love safe)

Probably because he's the only one who can send them to lyoko and handle all of the computer stuff. Well, besides Aelita, but she needs to shut down the towers. But I think it's a little over kill to have kicked Ulrich out of the group just like that. Especially since he's such a skilled fighter and one of their group members can't even fight without facing the penalty of actually dying.

That happened 3 episodes ago dude. And yeah, that is a pretty weird inconsistency, especially when you realize that both this episode and The Chips Are Down were written by the same 2 people.
It was explained through few episodes that Jeremy was leaving manuals to type commands faster, so probably Ulrich was just using one, and after that Jeremy just relies on his skill and is more comfortable with learning commands than leaving manuals (shown in Crash Course episode).
He _did_ have Future Flash in S1 before Jeremie accidentally removed it and never bothered to reprogram it, so he technically already had something other than his heightened reflexes and agility to rely on when he's not using his Laser Arrows.
I've always noticed that whenever she enters the tower, even if her friends are litteral seconds away from dying, Aelita slowly, and I mean slowly, struts up to the middle of the platform, does a little gymnastics routine while floating up, then continues to take her sweet time walking up the screen. Like, I remember an episode when she was absolutely bolting towards the tower, but as soon as she got inside, she went from ninety to five in two seconds.
Xana could have easily just drove them into a wall or something, but this really shows how dark and maniacal it actually is. Took the time to go to the river to drown them instead.
I wonder if the creators of this show know that, every time Aelita makes that hand motion when she uses her power, she's making the sign for "vagina" in American Sign Language. 😅😂
especially since human brains already function in an exponential manner. the only time it doesn't is at age three, when it begins to build long-term memory in the brain. by age four, it returns to exponential.
They’re inverse functions. Still, they are both increasing functions. However, the exponential function spikes upwards significantly as it increases, whereas the logarithmic function plateaus. You’re right that Jeremie definitely doesn’t give a very convincing argument by saying that his intelligence grows “logarithmically”, but it certainly doesn’t decrease, either.
I like to think that when they were making Evolution, they looked back at this episode and they were like, "Multiple attacks within 24 hours, that's gotta be what we do here. Oh and also make the Lyoko Warriors drop like flies at least twice an episode."
The way how Aelita now rushes to the tower to desactívate is kind of hilarious since she used to always take her time when someone was at the border of death ☠️

@@diegohernandez5072 wasn’t this the episode that later episodes when franzs hopper as XANA reminded Jeremy that he shouldn’t destroy the headsets because they contain something special even though the headsets was killing Jeremy
Something tells me that this episode was supposed to air first before The Chips Down episode because Ulrich states that he doesn’t know how to launch a return to the past. But three episodes ago, he did launch it when he fears about losing Yumi when he hears from her that her father found a job.
yeah , and he no longer has access to them probably

Aelita: "Say Odd, why do you always have to wait for the last second."
Odd: "Because it's more fun. That's why."
Me: *thinking about all the projects I did in school at the last second* Yeah sure Odd....fun.
1:22
Aelita: "Is that what you call fun. Looks more like insanity if you ask me."
Odd: "Oh really...you mean there's a difference?"
Me: This time I agree with you Odd.

On one hand, Aelita looks adorable.
On the other hand, Aelita always staring straight up with a blank face looks derpy as ****
Jeremy was like the renicarnation of grouchy ulrich.
I also cant believe the ambulance starts moving with nobody driving and adults do
nothing!!! I also dont understand jeremy dream
According to xana's virtualization, 2 trarantulas appeared but 3 landed, ok. Then all 3 fell
in the water after the surface cracked but two still remained, WTF???
Hasnt ulrich launched a return to the past before inorder to win that lotto???
Man I’m glad I decided to watch this after all the episodes came out.
Nice looney tunes reference
Fun fact: When the show was new and even though this is the 38th episode of the series, it for some reason aired after episodes 39-49 and aired in conjunction with episode 50, "Contact".
10:44 nice Looney Toons reference there Ulrich, now prepare for Copyright Claims
Otaku De Carnitas can reference or show a parody, just cannot claim within the show. Like the obvious reject xenomorph a few episodes back
@@richardknox4612 No they just got lucky. If another show did that they'd have been sued.
This is like 15 years old I think people missed that
@@homesliceheroes6306 It's okay to reference an IP, but you can't include the IP in the show. For example, the show can reference Tweedy and Sylvester as a part of Looney Toons, but they can't include those characters, their images, or their sounds/voice acting in the show.
What you're suggesting would make it illegal from news and media to talk about any copyrighted IP.
@@Klffsj No you're wrong. Even references like that can get you sued.
Can we talk about how fast Yumi is peddling to keep up with the ambulance
10:05 Hah, I was hoping Yumi would play Kankrelat Bowling with the clearly ball-shaped rock there :D
WackoMcGoose #newgameforcodelyoko
Yumi: we see the tower but there’s an army of monsters Jeremy
Yumi: I have a weird feeling we should take cover
Nahh yumi get blasted you’ll make it
why is Jeremy still in the group he abused the going back in time button. Ulrich did it and he was kicked out
Probably because he's the only one who can send them to lyoko and handle all of the computer stuff. Well, besides Aelita, but she needs to shut down the towers.
But I think it's a little over kill to have kicked Ulrich out of the group just like that. Especially since he's such a skilled fighter and one of their group members can't even fight without facing the penalty of actually dying.
They could have just Shut down the program when they kicked Jeremy out
Mr.X the lone knight
But then Alitea would shut down
@@jadenpina3989 I'm evil
*Sneaks into the Factory and shuts it down*
Nigga his mental and physical health was low. Ulrich abused the system for a selfish reason

First time Odd uses his shield.
Actually, it's episode 1 when they first enter battle. He used his Shield then. It seems he forgotten how to Shield at times.
@@DynoSkrimisher I think you're confusing chronology with release order. I believe we're talking about release order here.
“Odd, why do you always wait ‘till the last minute” This coming from Aelita 😂
And if those were Jeremy’s underwear, then who’s underwear was Kiwi chewing on in a previous episode?
23:23 end credits music in this show man. The entire soundtrack, honestly. Too bad Evolution completely overhauled it from what I heard.
Aelita's mom is hot
@@mr.xtheknight4759 I know right, shes a cutie Also @Darien White the soundtrack is a Real song made by a Real group called "The Subdigitals"

if this is here twice then sorry.
It lagged so now I don't know if the first comment is here or not
Franz Hopper developed the first nerve gear and Kayaba Akihiko improved it. Crazy
Do you think they’d survive the actual sword art online
@@keli15yearsago6 Yes.
When Odd FINALLY uses his shield.
that's when he gets it
Wtf Ulrick said he doesn't know how to return to the past but he literally did it like 2 episodes ago for yumi
That happened 3 episodes ago dude.
And yeah, that is a pretty weird inconsistency, especially when you realize that both this episode and The Chips Are Down were written by the same 2 people.
Infinity Percival I think Ulrich had Jeremy's notes in that episode
Anton Fuchs yeah he did.
I guess the power of the pussy was powerful at the time he did it
Spartan 9013 he used a notebook to do it. He didn’t have it this time
Ulrich throwing out a Looney Tunes reference. Was not expecting that. Lol
This episode is a Win-Win for Xana
Well this is a good sign, but they need to start putting all the other episodes that they missed within these 2 months. The wait has been too long.
I hear that Ulrich said now I know what tweedy feels like against Sylvester! So cute!!😍
Aelita: Odd, why do you have to wait for the last second?
We could ask you the same thing when you're entering a tower 😂
Yumi : the only thing that can save us now is a return to the past
Urlich : but i have now idea how
Me : didn't you do it to win that lottery?!?!
maybe Jeremy put the program behind a set of encrypted passwords so that way no one would abuse the system again
It was explained through few episodes that Jeremy was leaving manuals to type commands faster, so probably Ulrich was just using one, and after that Jeremy just relies on his skill and is more comfortable with learning commands than leaving manuals (shown in Crash Course episode).
I'm so glad to see Ulrich launches to return to the past!😄
Did he forget or something? 😂
How does a bike catch up with an ambulance...
Cartoon logic
It's going slow enough for Yumi to catch up to it but fast enough that Yumi can hold on to the side of it without ever touching the ground.
She's an ex tour de France rider
I'm so glad this episode shows that Ulrich program to return to the past!😄
Mrs Meier's class is a fate worse than death lol. 5:00
Took 38 episodes for Odd to finally have his own technique besides Laser Arrows
So.. What is odd's new technique?
@@highdluga7332 the shield
He _did_ have Future Flash in S1 before Jeremie accidentally removed it and never bothered to reprogram it, so he technically already had something other than his heightened reflexes and agility to rely on when he's not using his Laser Arrows.
5:16 what a perfect triangle!!!!! Miss .. are you a machine or what?
I love that Yumi can keep up with a full speed ambulance on her bike
21:30 did she just really do a backflip while her friends are about to die
Yup
I've always noticed that whenever she enters the tower, even if her friends are litteral seconds away from dying, Aelita slowly, and I mean slowly, struts up to the middle of the platform, does a little gymnastics routine while floating up, then continues to take her sweet time walking up the screen.
Like, I remember an episode when she was absolutely bolting towards the tower, but as soon as she got inside, she went from ninety to five in two seconds.
@@purplelion4489 ur comment made me laugh so hard🤣🤣🤣
I know it seems stupid, but it's necessary so she can actually land on the platform above her. She can't just phrase through it. Lol.
When I watched this episode on TV, I kept saying " don't step into the light Jeremy, don't step into the light! "
Same here
Xana could have easily just drove them into a wall or something, but this really shows how dark and maniacal it actually is. Took the time to go to the river to drown them instead.
This is one of my favorite French "anime"! Jeremy's kinda of a hypocrite, but I love that's he flawed.
Agreed! He certainly has the arrogance of a genius software prodigy.
I wonder if the creators of this show know that, every time Aelita makes that hand motion when she uses her power, she's making the sign for "vagina" in American Sign Language. 😅😂
You know, if XANA ever wants to give up his dream of world domination, he could always go into ambulance racing
XD
hey, it's what killed yoshikage kira. a respectable profession!
isnt logaritmic function the oppiste of exponetionl. the jeramy would get less and less smart each return to the past
degah 12 yes. i think I remember this in my calculus class
especially since human brains already function in an exponential manner. the only time it doesn't is at age three, when it begins to build long-term memory in the brain. by age four, it returns to exponential.
degah 12 apparently it did
Normally... They're not opposite per se but they are different.
Omg I remember this episode when I was a kid it was so good
idk why this feels like a metaphor to some of the hard drugs and effects on people.
Adderall ?
It really annoys me when 80% of the time Aelita can't protect herself.
She gradually becomes more of a badass the next two seasons
Yeah
Isn't it funny that Odd has a dog and is sort of like a cat in Lyoko?
And then why yumi live in her house while the others stay at the dorm?
The way how Aelita now rushes to the tower to desactívate is kind of hilarious since she used to always take her time when someone was at the border of death ☠️
How ironic! Ulrich doesn't know how how to return to the past, but thanks to Yumi he already did it to play the lottery! 🤨🤨
10:27 this is why yumi is the best.
1:58 This is why Ulrich is better. ;)
Nobody's going to say a word about Odd using chopsticks perfectly fine? Well then...
It's true! I did not realize.
Yeah and then 4 episodes later, he begins to have trouble holding them.
Nobody's gonna say a word about Odd's sudden shield that he never used before?
Code Lyoko's logic folks Code Lyoko's logic
16:05 Okay, I know he’s a supernatural intelligent computer virus, but that was just plain rude on XANA’s part. XD
19:56 that's a pretty cool part. Staring down your enemy!
yumi, u should be a professional stunt girl with that finesse chasing the ambulance! Grrrl~
One question, why would Jeremie make that video diary with the door open?
you owe us like 10 episodes
