Some song have to go in some order, so:
Kim ----> Bonnie and Clyde 97 ---> Bad Husband ( apologize to Kim)
Castle ----> Arose ( to his daugthers and about his overdosage)
Cleaning of my closet ---> Headlight ( apologize to his mom)
Then u will see how much he's grow and mature. It's hell of a lifestory.

There are 2 different stories. In Kim, Eminem kills the boyfriend and baby and leaves at em home and brings Kim to the woods to kill her.

Good, dark, happy, motivational or completely fucked up and horrendeous. All of them, not hiding anything. It’s just something special. Then you’ve felt like you went through his whole life with him. And it makes him close to you on a completely different level. Because through his music he lets you into his soul.

I think an entire song about him killing her is his closure on the relationship, "you're now dead to me" kind of thing. This would have been right about the time they decided to finally break it off for good.

Eminem the best story teller through music . He makes you feel every emotion in his music . His latest albums don’t make you feel this way . He just comes across as bitter . But it’s still a feeling .

Make no mistake, this is probably only a slight exaggeration of the way Em felt in this situation imo. This song is one of the most vile and disgusting things i’ve ever heard, legitimately upset me on the first listen, but if you define art as something that affects the person experiencing it then this is a perfect example of it. We can all hear the truly raw emotion behind this and that’s what makes it frightening, because it’s real and it’s dark and human in the worst way. The absolute insanity of love; really I think that this song is a comment on crimes of passion. The intensity of emotion and personal history that leads a person to commit such an atrocity. I’m not gonna pretend I know what Em’s motivation was when writing this, sorta seems like a personal therapy to me. Like he was excorsing a demon by externalizing his bitter anger through music.
Whatever it was, he made a really disturbing song (like immortal texhnique’s dance with the devil) that’s hard to listen to, but a real piece of art.

I remember hearing this as a teen when the album first came out and being shocked...not in a bad way...It was more of the FURY...and the ending...Gotta be honest...After I heard it the first time I replayed it many more times.
The subject matter, how far it went...It AMPED ME UP.
I could for sure relate to the RAGE.
Doesn't mean we do things we say...But I just had never heard fury and rage personified so well in a song...And being a rebellious teen at the time I felt like I could instantly relate to that rage and wanting to blow up.
Crazy listening to it so many years later...still very impactful but in a different way.
    Hard to hear it now.
But...this is what made Eminem, Eminem.
    No Filter.
    Unlike now.

He promised Kim he wouldn't perform this at his concert, she came along. He did it anyway and threw a lookalike blow up doll into the crowd and they abused and ripped it apart. She went home and slit her wrists.

Now you gotta do 97 Bonnie & Clyde from the Slim Shady LP. That outro was him dragging the body and throwing it in the trunk which also is the intro to 97 B&C which tells the story of him and his daughter

This reminds of stories people tell of Slipknots recording process back in their early days with Corey Taylore recording naked, vomiting and cutting himself with class to sort of break that seal of reality which is fucking mental. Theres a song on one of their records where the intro is just like a 30 second collection of screams, not vocal screams but just pain screams and that was recorded after Sid Wilson got a call saying that his grandfather had passed away and he didnt make it to he UK in time to say goodbye so he just walked into the booth and got it off his chest. Theres something to be said about how channeling the darkest shit and get results
