This is a little gem: I’m car shopping and I’m single and I’ve ruled out the M5 Competition because I would have to defend my decision to family members for the price. This would fit the bill perfectly! I need to go drive one! Thank you for showing this AMG C43 to us, Gold Pony!
Owned a C43 AMG 2018'. The car is insanely balanced. Highly recommend over the C63S. You can take it to the snow with your family in the C43. Great all around car. Amazing in the rain too.
@@gianniferrari1122 thank you for letting me know. I have yet to own anything German. May I ask if you currently drive something that you live and recommend outside of this MB sedan. I’m somewhat open-minded.

@@gianniferrari1122 thanks again Gianni. The information is excellent. The Porsche Panamera has been on my radar for years but I always ended up in crossover / suv vehicles. I’m about as stable as a man comes I believe and my career has taken off. I broke off an engagement but I will be on the market again next year hopefully when I’ve processed the breakup. That said, I do want a wife who values the stability component. I’ll be a pediatric surgeon, beginning a fellowship shortly and I’m happy for that. I did have a Defender and sold it recently. I’ve been driving Japanese. I will say that I’ll be getting brand new when I go for German. That’s just what I will do, I don’t have time for maintenance issues and shop time. I like to lease and dump, for the full warranty and nobody’s else’s bull shit damage or lack of maintenance. The Audi RS7 is interesting to think on, too. Fast and safe are important boxes to check in my book also. I can’t go fast often but it’s nice to have when wanted or needed.
That's a cute car! Very pricey, but as you stated, 2K add on should be standard. You mentioned park assist.. Can you in a future model, DEMONSTRATE IT? I've heard of it but not seen in action. Also I'd like to SEE the steering wheel buttons on future vids please? I'm into the techy stuff LOL
Beautiful car. But the "off the mark power" is not coming from the 4 banger but from the electric motors providing instant acceleration. The sad part is that once you are driving, you don't hear a suitable growl but the typical 4 banger whine. MB tries to compensate with fake engine noises piped into the cabin through the stereo (just like some Fords and BMWs). It is fine, but not something I would want to spend $75k for because for that money I would want a vehicle whose small engine is not pushed to the limit (and there are nice offerings that fit the bill for less). The chance of failure is higher, and repairs are not cheap.
If I understand correctly, the 43 doesn't have an electric motor to the wheels, the electric aspect of the 43 just powers the turbo to reduce/eliminate turbo lag. The 63 is the true hybrid
Coming from a c300 I wanted to upgrade to something fast… i ordered a c43 but ended up cancelling and went with a widebody charger Scatpack.. I’m not dropping damn near 70k on a 4 cylinder.. sorry.
There's no denying that MBZ is gorgeous in every way, but I'm not shelling out $75k for a 4 banger, Iwhen it comes to EV's I'm not a big fan untill I see all the $$$ I can save by witching from gasoline to electric. I've done a little research on 4 EV models that qualify for the $7,500 tax credit that I would consider if I had $75k to blow on a vehicle. (1) Acura ZDX (2) Cadillac Lyriq (3) Chevy Blazer (4) Tesla Model 3 Performance (0-60 in 3.5 sec). Average annual fuel cost for a regular engine is $1,700 whereas an EV it's only $400. So, not only are you saving $7,500 off the purchase price, but also $1,300 in fuel cost.
I owned this car for eight months, and had to trade it back in. The issues I had were the following: 1) Clunky transmission- terrible at low speeds. 2) Cheap interior plastics. The creaking doesn’t stop. 3) Three occasions, all the lights in the dash populated, screaming at me to stop driving. After the third visit to the dealership, I gave it back. I’ve owned BMW M cars and Audi S vehicles, and I’d say, this example of the C43 isn’t up to snuff to your typical Mercedes standard. Maybe it’s the C chassis that can’t support the power, but this one let me down. I really wanted to love this car, but I couldn’t. Buyer beware. (Went back to Audi and picked up the S5 Sportback).
@@ologmcnoleg2487 I experienced the same harsh jerky downshift from 5 to 4. Is the ECU update you mentioned over the air or I will need to visit the dealer?
If it makes more horsepower than the previous V6 - what’s the problem? Not trying to debate; I get it that some ppl love their bigger engines and I respect that. As my daily driver, I think this is a fun car to drive, regardless of the engine size.

Excellent review! I love mine, but don't like the occasional slow speed clunks in the transmission (even after warmup).
What is the reason for the black “bow” that is tied over the engine?
Excellent review, so much info, thank you brother!!!

There’s a microphone in the engine. It’s real engine sound.
Nice review bro & I try to afford this vehicle.
Amazing review bro.
Thanks!
I don’t have the IWC watch in my 2023 😮 Is this an option?

aside from the engine going from mercedes quality and luxury to dodge is a downgrade but is the v8 is nice
I have a ‘24 ❤ it

Thanks for the review. You can spec out a 2024 E450 for less than this model lists for as tested. This one just isn't worth it.

This is not a sporty toyota or subaru if i spend that much money on a mercedes it should've atleast be a 6 cylinder or v8

This c43 and c63 smoke out old c43 and c63 with v6 and v8 in a drag race. Check carwow videos.
The exhaust is not good sounding compared to the last gen c43 and its slower
Gran coupe. No place back.
So your thumb was in the way when you accelerate it,, next time hold on somewhere else so we can see the progression
4 cylinder amg 😒.
The times we live in.😒😒
That motor is great. I’ve loved tweaked 4 bangers since my ‘88 M3. I have a 24 C43 and it’s lovely.
