So basically you can't "drink" in Dubai. No tiki bars, no Irish Pubs, no sports bars, no fun! Just overpriced places that make some slight exceptions. Good video though, answers my questions.
Hi James, there are plenty of bars, nightclubs, and restaurants where you can drink. However, you cannot purchase alcohol at stores, and you cannot drink in most public places.
@Trouser TrollNothing against the people who made the video. More so against the government of UAE. You can drink, but I guarantee that the penalties for being "drunk" are harsh and swift. Same penalties you receive if you hold hands with someone out of wedlock.
@@johnpederson8748 As long as you are not causing any trouble while under the influence you are usually fine to walk back to your hotel or wherever you are staying, if you dont feel comfortable walking back under the influence your best bet is to get an Uber. There where Ubers all over the place in Dubai and there where by far more than enough places to consume alcohol at fairly good prices.

Dubai appears rather superficial with the archaic and draconian laws.
