Funny...i'm from Germany and i always thought he might have some German ancestry, because of the last name "Radke" being quite a common German surname. Though upon further research i just discovered that it's apparently the germanized form of the slavic (in this case polish/ czech and sorbian) surnames "Radek/ Radka/ Radk" Sooo...i don't know, but there might also be some German or Slavic ancestry mixed in there. Is Radke his real last name? If so, then it's kind of strange to me that he's Native American & Portuguese, since Radke is definitely not a Portuguese surname. 🤔
So glad you did this reaction. About to watch it. Great that the lead singer doesn't copyright strike reactors, so you can dive into a few of Falling in Reverse videos without worries :)
Well to be fair to Ronnie , the priest did try to do an exorcism on him haha ! Ronnie is an all round singer / artist , there is literately nothing he can do , Rap , Growl , Heavy , Mellow . He has an incredible voice range !! An mixing genres is what he does best , so on that note U should deff do the trilogi , if U havent yet -.Losing My Mind , Losing My Life , Drugs , in that order ! U should also check out ; Im Not A Vampire / Im Not A Vampire Revamped , The Drug In Me Is U / The Drug In Me Is Reimagined . Its songs . from their debut album , that they redid 10 years after , exactly same lyrics , but totally diff versions ! U never really know what Ur gonna get listening to a song from this this band , for the first time . One thing U can be sure off is high quality music videos , great stories , and totally bangers ! Hope U will react some more to this band !
HARD HARD HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD ive been rocking out for 2 almost 3 decades and almost nothing hits this fucking hard, NF, sounds like classic "scene" music...bro on the right NAILED the description
I always loved this type of vibe, never gotten super into falling in reverse, especially now because Ronnie keeps proving himself to be a total asshole of a person, but he is an undeniable talent and he is working with other artists I like, slaughter to prevail, dance gavin dance, tech n9ne, etc so I gotta show love.
He's Blackfoot / Portuguese. The Church has strayed from the path when you look at what the Bible says, Everyone sitting in the pews paying attention to their phones instead of the message, the priest trying to perform an exorcism. The laptops falling from the sky hitting the rocker was Sebastian Bach which I definitely approve of!
First time Im hearing this song and it's wild. They go from rap, to hard rock to almost like screamo (I'm unfamiliar with that area of rock) in 1 song and honestly actually made it work.
Hey Rob, nice video! I like the format where you and Mike are reacting and talking about your thoughts and sharing it with us. 👌 The part about social-Media and its devices like cellphones and computers. I think it's not about the social media itself, but about the toxicity, hate, cyber-mobbing, defamation and all other stuff like this and that he is tired of it.
He did do a version of this LIve. Check that out if you want to see him without the video. His body used to be covered in tattoos. A couple of years ago he blacked them all out. He said he needed to put that past away to move forward creatively. This song was purposely recorded in as many styles as he could pack together. You should check out "The Drug in Me is You/The Drug in Me is Reimagined", "I'm Not a Vampire/I'm Not a Vampire revamped", and just for fun he reimagined Papa Roach's "Last Resort" Check out all three pairs of songs. Do the original and the reimagined versions of the same song in a single video. The growth is awesome to experience.
If anyone has the balls to light a priest on fire it is definitely Ronnie 😂 Great reaction, you earned a new subscriber. I never got an NF vibe but a lot of people have said the same thing. I got an Em, Twista, and Drake vibe.
I agree the song is okay. I like it. But it’s not top tier for me. But the transitions, from where it starts to where it ends up…that is pretty high up there for me and why I enjoy it the most.
Please go watch the Trilogy in order. It goes Losing my Mind, Losing my Life, DRUGS. All his videos will start coming together if you watch in order. Ronnie is an absolute BEAST.
omg please more mike! i want to see you do some deathcore! shadow of intent would not be a good place to start but do it anyway? but maybe bring me the horizon!
I am surprised you didn't do popular monster but it might not of been out at this time. I just saw your videos the other day and have watched 20 of them on this playlist
I totally agree with your take about the classics like RATM. Nothing wrong with this FIR song, but a lot of its appeal is how much of a production feat it is. On the other hand, Killing in the Name Of is so raw and real and witnessing your ability to discern that is why ppl are drawn to your reactions.
Wasn’t talking about the video. Music couldn’t sound like this in the 90’s because of technology limitations. Nothing wrong with newer music that takes advantage of modern tunation, voice synthesis, compression and quantizing tools, I’m just saying that for someone new to heavy music, he’s got a sophisticated ear to be able to appreciate the quality of 90’s RATM even though it’s way more sonically stripped-down than this.
Ummmmm wth is this and why have I never heard it before?!? I'm about to turn everyone I know on to this band on the first two minutes of this song alone. Seriously, what is even happening right now and nobody better screw with these people, they're savage. 🤯
I wonder if having the video on took the impact of the song away slightly? I prefer hearing a song for the first time just audio so I can focus on the music itself. But that’s just me I guess.
I feel like Popular Monster might be the next FIR step, but maybe the Trilogy could be better down a rock journey. Also too maybe if your looking for more rock, Avenged Sevenfold, or if your feeling really crazy Motionless In White or something like that.
I've never experienced the video lag that is displayed here. Seems odd. There are a variety of things that can cause this. Just didn't know if the person on the right was aware. Fun reaction!
The lyrical miracles is from Eminems BET 2011 cypher with slaughterhouse & yelawolf lol, yea its NF Tech Nine, Drake, Cardi B, &"Godzilla" like from Eminem during the "lyrical miracle" part even a very similar part where he hops out the snake pit onto the road with the people with glowing eyes copying or watching his moves is like Joyner Lucas Eminem song Lucky You
Dive down the rabbithole. You won't be disappointed. He can sang sang. Do a 2 in 1. The Drug In Me Is You (2011) and then 10 yrs later The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. It will blow your mind how much he's grown
the "drake" part was probably where he says "i got dirt on people but they act like i dont know, i will never rock the boat, all it takes is one post, watch em fall like dominoes"
It's a good "boil the frog" song for people that are cool with aggressive rap but don't get metal (yet). I go the other way, in that rap is not my jam, until you throw some double bass under it and now we're going somewhere.
If you want to go down the rabbit hole, you might want to try "Slaughter to Prevail" and their songs "baba yaga" or 'demolisher". I would love to see that. Definitely more death metal but I don't know how far you want to go.
If you think the priest burning was surprising or ballsy. Check out just the cover art to the album, "Holy Diver" by Dio. While you are at it, check out Dio for some legit old school white boy music. Holy Diver, Rainbow in the Dark, Heaven and Hell, The Last in Line, We Rock, Stand Up and Shout. Any of those would be a good entry point. Ronnie James Dio is the man who immortalized, "The Horns" hand gesture.
Haha, Ronnie is Native American. We often are mistaken for Asian or Mexican lol. My son was called "little asian boy" but one of our coworkers from Cambodia haha.
For more of Ronnie Radke, Falling in reverse, listen to "Popular Monster" "The Drug in Me(is you)" "Lising my Mind" and his amazing, reimagined, cover of "Last Resort." That one wAs Papa Roach approved!
Great reaction hope you react to more falling in reverse songs you can start with the trilogy losing my mind, losing my life and drugs, popular monster, zombified, voices in my head, they did a cover of Coolio's gangstas paradise which is awesome by the way 😂😂, chemical prisoner, it's over when it's over, raised by wolves, pick up the phone, coming home, carry on, alone, rolling stone, champion and the westerner
I wasn't ever shocked by the preacher burning. The religion itself is whatever but we all heard of preachers who would deserve that according to their own belief
Does it have to be a music video? If so, then not any of their songs 😂 but they have got a few great ones, though! I’d love to hear y’all’s perspective on Tom MacDonald. Rapper who writes his own bars and creates his own beats, and his girlfriend Nova makes the music videos. He’s the most popular independent artist out.
One thing about Ronnie is that he is a musical and symbolic genius. There's definitely more to this song than what meets the eye. Ronnie isn't afraid to speak his mind and be himself. he's often misunderstood and judged by society because he doesn't conform. He calls out society for using fear to control people and how that has created a monolithic society. This is about taking your power back and embracing who you are. i understand the genre may not be for everyone but the message is powerful.
This whole song is about how people are trying to cancel him because of something that happened in his past. When he already paid for his crime. There is an interview with M. Shadows (lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold) talking about Ronnie. Listening to the interview then listening to the song again, was like putting a pair of glasses.
@@joshuahoots5299 I mean, trying to lead young girls in his "Escape the Fate" days to the back where even old bandmates don't want to comment for their own sakes, and then the R@pe allegations that came out in 2015, he's not a good person. "i got enemies trying to get rid of me" glad I'm not the only one who thought Drake... Ronnie is good but I can hear so many other artists in his music
A 6 out of ten doesn't cut it, this a reaction of him to others making him a supervillain and the way social media works nowadays. I don't think ronnie is asian, if i remember he was like part native american or something like that, but i haven't heard it talked about since his escape the fate days so could be wrong.
What your talking about is why I liked your reaction to freak on a leash, almost every reactor watches the music video and generally don't talk as much about the song itself. The video won best music video at the awards at the time but it takes away from the song.
Bro! Not rock, but I'd love to see you react to Dan Bull. He's a British rapper that makes songs about video games. I would say some good starters might be Civilization rap, Far Cry Primal rap, The Crew rap, Hellblade: Senua's Song, any of the Minecraft raps..

It was a Priest, not a preacher. Preachers fought the Priests back in the day. Protestants versus Catholics, Calvinism, etc.
"Is he Asian?" Nope, half Native American half Caucasian.
Native American actually makes so much sense. I always wondered what his ethnic background was, I also would have assumed something Asian as well.
Is he Asian? Yes!!! He's cauc-asian!!! 😂
Native American, and Portugese to be more specific.
