  • In this video, I frame and sheathe a tool wall above my workbench. I provide tips on how to locate openings in the plywood wall for things like windows and outlets.
This is part three of how I transformed a corner in my unfinished basement into my studio for filming RUclips videos. I built this set up so I could film at any time of day and maintain near perfect consistency in look. This video is part of a series that can be found in my playlist called: "Building a RUclips studio in my basement." Part one starts with framing a partition wall and ends with finishing the workbench. Part two is all about building a pallet wood accent wall. Part three focuses on building a tool wall. Part four will show you how to make a floating shelf from a piece of scrap wood. Finally, part five brings you along on my journey of trial and error as I figure out lighting configurations and iPhone camera settings for filming. At the end, I will reveal the cost breakdown of the build!
    Thanks for stopping by!
