"Have a Hobie Cat Summer" a Hobiecat film

I managed to come across a few VHS tapes of Hobiecat films and digitized them with the intent to preserve the footage. I am sure some of these can be found elsewhere but having duplicates is a good idea. I do not own the content, just preserving the Hobie way of life.

Thanks for sharing these older videos. Lots of memories. I was involved with Hobie Cats from 1968 thru 1973. I ran the race and customer service department from 1970 for 3 years so was organizing and running the races shown here. And I was handling the jib on the "break the 16" sequence. Hobie was handling the tiller, Phil Edwards on the main sail and Frank - a working from the shop that we chose for ballast was hanging on for dear life. such fun and wonderful memories. Wish I could find my old copies of the original movies.

Sorry - this movie was from 1972/73 era. Mostly SoCal and Hawaii
