"A Moments Glory" a Hobiecat film

I managed to come across a few VHS tapes of Hobiecat films and digitized them with the intent to preserve the footage. I am sure some of these can be found elsewhere but having duplicates is a good idea. I do not own the content, just preserving the Hobie way of life.

I was lucky enough to run into Hobie Alter himself at the Waikiki Yacht Club when he was there trying to set up the National Race for 14's in 1970. He really loved pushing the Hobie Cat life style and all that goes with that. I had just completed the 1970 TransPac on a cat and he seemed more interested in what we went thru to get there than dealing with his race course. All in all, a very humble man and I was so blessed to be able to meet him.
