I started waking up earlier and doing a similar routine every single morning before work and my relationship with God has changed drastically. I have been searching for a way to become closer to him and this was it because as a busy mom with a full time job I was having a hard time finding time. To be honest, my driving time is like yours, my prayer time! I guess its the only time I am truly alone to think, pray and dwell on Him. I should totally get an audio version of the Bible. Thanks for the tip!
Reading the Bible at night might work well for you. Your house is probably quieter and less busy after your kids are asleep. We're so fortunate that God is available 24/7. I'm not a morning person at all, so I read the Bible at night. I personally feel the most peace, calmness, and ability to focus when it's dark outside and the world seems to slow down. Also, God will meet you in the middle of the craziness if you live a hectic life. This past school year I found it so helpful to my stress/anxiety to pray in the morning while I was brushing my teeth and washing my face. Starting the day by giving my worries to God was so incredible for me and truly taught me to trust Him. It allowed me to walk into each day confidently knowing that God was on my side and helping me make it through my to-do list every day. Even little 10 minute pockets of time throughout the day are useful for connecting to God. I would pray when I was walking around campus. I'd read a devotional while I was eating my lunch. God will meet you anywhere at any time for any duration.
I LOVE MORNINGS WITH GOD!! It's such a lovely time where we spend our time just with Him, reading His Word and reflecting on it. This time of the day is like an assurance for me for the rest of the day that He's always working in me. Since I started having morning Bible sessions, I've been seeing things in God's way and more alert to Him. HALLELUJAH!!!

I am not a morning person... I struggle to roll out of bed by 7:30am, but I would love to get up earlier and have a bible routine. Are you naturally a morning person or did you have to work to get used to it?
Ashley Brown I am totally a morning person.... unless I didn't get enough sleep the night before! So I make sure I go to bed earlier rather than later!
Trust me, I used to wake up at 12pm every day now I wake up at 6:30am, it's possible

God has given me a reason to wake up every day, and I get up ready to advance his kingdom
Try using a bible app that will read to you in the morning
Bout the past week or so I've been making myself read my bible in the morning, and it's been making a difference. I'm feeling better about prayer too.

I love your routine!!! I got 2 toddlers and 4 businesses so ... I don't have a routine, I just survive. All I manage to do is pray when I open my eyes in the morning ... After that, it's unpredictable. ❤️❤️❤️

Barely out of bed by 8 and have to be out the door by 915 at the latest . Just praying takes minimum of 15 minutes so needless to say my prayer and Bible time needs work. I have been praying about this and recently found your channel. Great encouragement. God bless you ❤
