We all know what it's like to live a BUSY life. But I want to encourage you to not forget what your purpose is within the craziness of life. You were made to know God! This is why it is so important to carve special moments out of your day to seek the Lord and draw nearer to Him! That hole in you heart will never be filled by things in this world. We can try to fill our hearts with relationships, friends, affirmation from people, food, money, education, jobs, sex, drugs, alcohol, music, weed, fame, popularity... you name it. It won't fulfill you. No one and nothing could ever love you like God has through Jesus Christ. He died so that you might have LIFE and have it to the fullest!
John 10:10 - Jesus said: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

I’m also working through the Bible chronologically this year. I got the Day by Day Chronological Bible and I love it because each day it has some journaling questions to dig a little deeper with each section (and the days are just marked by Week 1: Day 1 and so on instead of January 1 and so on, so I actually started mid December) So I have a journal I am using just for those journaling questions and prayers. I’m also not focusing on highlighting and note taking during my morning time (which is when I’m doing the chronological reading) and just focusing on those questions and prayer!
I’m still doing some deeper highlighting and note taking outside of this Bible/plan in my ESV journaling bible. I finally joined a women’s Bible study group at church and love it! Ahh! To discuss the word and God with other people is just so refreshing for my soul. I’m a busy mom and came to faith just a couple years ago and surprisingly COVID is actually the thing that got me going to church more. When you don’t have the option to meet with other believers for a time you really realize how important it is and take all the opportunities you can to go when you can! Also thank the Lord for Zoom! It has made Bible study with groups more doable for me because I am a busy mom and my group meets via zoom at 6:30 am before my kids wake up which is perfect for me.
I’m so thankful for what church has been doing in me and my oldest daughter, whom I’ve been taking with me. She has been praying so much this week it just brings tears to my eyes! Just a little rant on my life lol
My main point was the day by day chronological Bible is an awesome option if anyone is interested in doing it!

@@kameo3963 really? Because Scriptures are preached in every sermon and put into easy to understand language for believers to apply in their lives, helping with them with common problems. People are being transformed by their ministry, I have no issue with that.
You're so right. I look forward to my time in the morning with the Lord. I get my coffee and bible, and it's such an amazing start of the day, same at the end of the day. I do get up earlier to do it but it cements my day in the Word. Love your videos and seeing snippets of your city and your day, even though I am way past college!

Like you I was also was looking for worship songs. My church would sing the same songs for years. God began giving me songs in my dreams. Most of them I would forget the words and the music. I could not wait to sleep and hear the songs. One day while looking in the mirror, I'm sure I heard God say I do not have to wait for the dreams because He has given me the ability to write songs. Since that time God has given me over 100 songs. I have posted over 70 songs on You Tube. I also agree that reading the bible and prayer is very important in our life. I keep my audio bible playing next to my bed for hours and when I sleep it plays the entire night. Many times this results in dreams, songs and the very presence of God. Thanks for your post my sister.

I don't know if Zach Williams songs are considered worship, but I been listening to Zach's " There was Jesus" and " Fear is a Liar". What it comes to worship, I sometimes go back to old school hymns and appreciate the spiritual growth in Christianity today. My all time favorite classic is Amazing Grace . Dark, cold, sad raining. So I want to start again, but every time I can't get out of my bed in the morning.
