Thank you very much! There's a section called "layout" in the print dialog, and it's not the correct place to look for this setting! That makes written instructions impossible to follow. You showed me that there's a specific dropdown chooser titled "layout," which was very clear.
How would I print just the notes? I have PP slides that are 150 pages long and would like to print the notes without having to delete the thumbs one page at a time.
To just print the notes: 1. Go to File > Print. 2. Select 'Notes' under 'Print What'. 3. Use the PDF dropdown in the bottom left corner to 4. 'Save as PDF…'. 5. Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat 6. Go to File > Export > Text > Text (Plain). OR 6a. On a Mac, Go to File > Save As > Text 7. Review for odd inaccuracies
Gidraff, I'm sorry to hear that this procedure did not work for you. I'm not sure why that would have happened. Perhaps you could try one of the following: 1. Follow the steps shown in the video EXCEPT, instead of choosing "Save as PDF", try "Open in Preview". If it this works, you can print this version or save. 2. Follow the steps shown in the video EXCEPT, instead of choosing "Save as PDF", choose"Send in Mail". This will generate the PDF as an attachment to an email. Perhaps this version might work If you are not using a PC rather than a Mac (in my video I am using a Mac), I'm not sure if the steps are different. Here's a video for a PC ruclips.net/video/3ql4vbfbv-A/видео.html
I'm not sure why that's happening. Maybe try this: when you click on the pulldown arrow "PDF", select "Open in Preview". Once it opens in this application, you can click on "File" and select "Print".

Thank you for the tutorial! Is there a way to print the notes without the slides?
Yes. You'll find instructions here: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-and-print-notes-pages-324b234d-83b6-4db1-8bb6-9ee5c934a76f

I wanted to keep the orientation horizontal but the preview of the slides becomes very small for some reason
I'm not sure why that's happening. Do you have a lot of information in the notes?
Many thanks - appreciated.
how to automatically export over 4000 notes to individual PDFs saved on a OSX computer?
I'm sorry @dgd3, I don't know how to do this.
@@jacquelineclarke thanks for the other good info :)
Thank you soooo much !!
I followed exactly but even though it shows the notes view in the print preview on my Mac, it PDFs as a presentation. weird. frustrating AND weird.
I'm not sure why that's happening. Maybe try this: when you click on the pulldown arrow "PDF", select "Open in Preview". Once it opens in this application, you can click on "File" and select "Print".
Thank you!!!!
