I bought a fabia recently with dark side intercooler and hybrid turbo fairly cheap gets 237hp and 458nm torque and I believe it was mapped by darkside but not too sure cant imagine that came to cheap if he paid got the labour they seem really expensive when you can order parts online and do it yourself or get a friend to help you out

if you buy a diesel I would happily remap it for you , you definatelly should consider an e46 330d drift missile , cheap, reliable and with few mods you can easily reach 300+ bhp and torque for days
@@toyotaturbo504 Indeed they are! Mine is OEM from 2.7 TDi with a welded 1.9 TDi manifold conversion from Xman Turbo. Should run a similar boost setup at around 1.8-1.9bar but aiming 240-250hp
@@FrenchJohn Xman turbo is shocking, i had one before and binned it, I only made 215hp on Xmans 1756 , laggy as hell etc just overall baggage turbo , that was at 1.8bar, my new 1756 from turbo dynamics made more HP and torque at 0.1bar less Good luck with that cheap horrible Xman unit, those are only good for the bin i feel, and wouldn't buy from him again as the turbo core itself was begin to leak oil after 6 months of use lol Dyno figures are laughable really dont look into it too much only good for before and after comparisons

The last turbo I had from him was the GTB2260vk from Audi A5 3.0 TDi. My mate has a 1856 mfs runing 250hp on a ibiza pd100. Xman turbo has been really reliable since using it so I'm actually good.

Uncles one has around 180k miles and only thing I remember he had was the turbo veins sticking (which can be solved with mr muscle oven cleaner) and something with the gearbox where it struggled to change in first which was sorted.
have a 6L Ibiza FR, had it once doing 2.8 bar and peak 3.2 bar, it was crazy to drive, now its on conservative 2 bar boost but still great to drive. That is a nice Skoda, hes prob running a long gearbox cause the car doesnt seem fast for 340hp but its a nice one props to the owner
2.5 bar is fairly conservative on these engines , it's just the beginning. To play with the big boys he's still 1bar away at least lol check some portuguese 1.9tdi's

Got E90 330d with stage 1, The guys who remaped it said it should be around 200kw and ~600nm, I can tell that the thing goes wild.. What I like about it is barely any smoke, was expecting a lot more, and a really good fuel economy, 8l/100km with 200kw of power under the hood...
I had a 2002 Seat Ibiza 1.9Tdi Sport (prior to them becoming FRs). Same engine as the Fabia VRS with 130bhp/229lbft as standard, although general opinion was that they had more like 140+bhp from the factory. It went very well and had very tall 6th gear so 80mph was 1900rpm. Handling was a bit podgy but it had high miles and crap tyres.
I've started to look at those cars. Great power and economy. Would get the GT sport with 170hp and possibly look into seeing if the 140hp version down pipe is able to fit so basically be like a DPF delete 🤣. Love the BBS style wheels. Saw one guy with one at a set of lights however was a knob as he went in the left which is to turn left but booted it to go straight ahead 🙄.

this car is a Czech people‘s WETTEST dream - only around here have such a beast though, as they rather “tune it” with visual ricer modifications, it is a shame though, really.
This looks almost identical to my old vrs... Had it 9 years and was a hoot to drive. Was nicely modded out by time I sold it on 155k miles... Still pulling strong. Damn I'm missing the old girl now. Even Jeremy Clarkson liked these and he hates diesels!
black smoke does not mean the emissions are too high, it just means it runs a bit rich before it gets to boost, emissions are easy to pass, smoke test is worse, dont know how it is in UK but here your car can smoke a little under full throttle acceleration from idle to redline, but it cant smoke when you are cruising
The thing with diesels is that even the high powered ones are relatively boring to drive. Low revving, not nice sounding... I've had two Seat Leon 1.9 TDI's, one was the toilet-spec 90bhp and one was 200bhp. I now have a 120d Sport. They're good cars, but not as exciting as petrol engines. My weekend / track toy is a 1.6 Eunos and despite being pretty slow, is way more fun bouncing off the limiter at 7k.
Ive got a 2.0cdti vauxhall insignia started with 138bhp done a remap currently running 185bhp. I want to start stage 2 upgrade but dont know were to start.
wahahahahaha no way with just a remap you would have those numbers, I also had one with a stage plus 1 (the 184hp tho) and made 224hp and 494nm now way ur car had that hp and torque figurs with just a remap so stop lying, I had 3 bmw 3l diesels, still have a heavely tuned e39 530d with a bigger turbo, bigger intercooler and full exhaust, no cats or anything and berely make 600nm and 252hp, this is because the original injectors can't handle more. so 272hp my ass realy stop lying.
I currently have a astra sri 1.9 cdti and I literally am touch and go if to put the money into remaps and exhausts. I don't no if I should save for a petrol and let my insurance drop or just tune the sri

its probably crappy build.. with a lot of smoke but not so much power and these numbers are probably made up, because looking at how it goes, the guys in the car do not even flinch from that torque, I got BMW with 600Nm torque and at first and second gears its hard to lean towards when you press the pedal, this here is pretty much stock power from what I see here..
160 with just a remap will kill your turbo fairly quickly. The one off of PD130 engines is a plug and play swap and you can reach 160 with that one no problem.
Nothing budget about this build...Darkside performance have never heard the word budget before

As a former dirty diesel owner I couldn't cope with that smoke. A decent remap should sort most of it out but may lose a few bhp.

My VW Caddy is only 105 Hp, 184.39 lb.-ft. It goes hard for what it is. I'll be adding pd130 parts soon, and a tune. I'm deleted already.

Regulate the boost down and smaller injectors im guessing

its probably crappy build.. with a lot of smoke but not so much power and these numbers are probably made up, because looking at how it goes, the guys in the car do not even flinch from that torque, I got BMW with 600Nm torque and at first and second gears its hard to lean towards when you press the pedal, this here is pretty much stock power from what I see here..

PD100 Ibiza Sportrider log burner here :) aiming for 160hp/250lb/ft remap later in year, need to keep it sensible as it's the commuter
160 with just a remap will kill your turbo fairly quickly. The one off of PD130 engines is a plug and play swap and you can reach 160 with that one no problem.
