My husband and I got married when our daughter was just 2...she danced with her Daddy to this song!! We are now divorced and it still brings tears to my eyes to hear it!!
my daughter was ten monthes old when my wife and i were married this song made my wife, my mother and grandmother cry when i played it at the reception
This Song As Well As All The Songs On The Plain Dirt Fashion Collection Was Is The Best...I Live And Was A Fan When U Folks Were Hitting The Festivals And Will Always Be A Fan...This Song Is So Touching This One !!! U Should Create A New Album Just Around This Songg And Long Hard Road !!!
I worked with Ibby on several of his solo projects (doing artwork), and while he was still in the band, he told me that he wanted to play "deeper cuts" from all their albums, not just the same songs year after year. Jeff wanted to only play the hits and the same songs. I used to love seeing them every time they came to town, but I think it'd be more fun if they mixed it up a bit. Admittedly, Ibby can be hard to work with - but the magic he added is greatly missed.
disagreement on performance. Jimmy wanted to play new music and Jeff insisted they play their old music. I like Jimmy but have to agree with Jeff on this one.
Why would little jean have years of tears and confusion about her parents not being married unless we HARMED HER with our toxic guilt about premarital sex?!? So she was “born out of wedlock” she’s a human life!!! How the f should it matter if her parents were married or not?!? They HARMED little jean by MAKING HER FEEL THE TEARS AND CONFUSION cause her mom and dad weren’t married!!!

This group and this song brings back some good memories of the 1980's.
Saw them in New Hampshire; and they were absolutely great! Happy they came East.
