I’ve been suffering from serious neck pain for 2 weeks constantly now. My neck gets numb and tingly and it’s excruciating if I turn too fast… I just felt the biggest relief in my neck after watching this video!! Thank so you much! Imma share this to everyone at bjj who mentions neck pain
That's an awesome video Dr. Can you also tell us what to do with finger pain with all pulling and pushing of the Gi, especially for me using spider guard and sleeves And colour technique...
I'd avoid spider guard if you want to be more friendly on your grips. That said, its your choice. Taping them is helpful, paraffin baths, ice baths post training, and forearm, hand work as well as strengthening is critical.
@@DrJoshJagoda Thank you very much for your response, as a brand new blue belt, I still tend to hold on to Gi and not let go (bad habit) and I crack my knuckles alot (another bad habit). Can you please teach us the best way to tape fingers. I really appreciate you Doctor 🙂.
How is your ON treating you? I dealt with ON a couple years back but it went away after minimizing stress and getting shots in the back of my head for treatment. I haven't gotten shots in a while though and only did it once. I just started BJJ and am worried the ON is going to flare up.
@@DrJoshJagoda do you know of any good stabilizing exercises for that region? It's primarily on the left side side of my neck/jaw where the skull/jaw meet the neck.
@@derrickhernandez5973 it's fussy. Certain exercises help, certain exercises aggravate it. Too much stretching can also aggravate it. Cardio helps and qi gong.

Is this just for pain or can it work for herniated discs?
Awesome video. Thank you! Ossssa

Definitely the most effective ways I've seen of doing these. Is there anything you'd recommend for occipital neuralgia from an jiu jitsu injury?
I'd try this for a little. If you have headaches, subocciptial work may be needed and strengthening to stabilize.

Thank you so much sir. It’s been 10 years of the pain. I just stay home after work. No life. I will be trying this. Tried everything else.
Best of luck! Happy to help ya!
