He's a gaining a lot of weight is because he was an athlete before, so when you're an athlete you do training. Because of his training his eating might have been increased. He stopped training so he ended up just eating. I am an athlete too, when I was in grade 4 I really don't eat a lot, my lunch everyday is have eaten. But when I started to train, I feel like I'm always hungry XD and when I stopped training, I gained weight *sigh
True! I was an athlete too back then and after I stopped training I ended up gaining a lot of weight and I realised this so I told myself that I should stop whatever I’m doing and try to lose all the weight. I’m glad I managed to lose half of it but there is still a long way to go ☺️

Americans are quite easily offended about weight-related issues... I think it's valid to show a strong amount of concern - leaving weight to be "none of everybody else's business" (not the same as not bullying...) is more likely to enable/not discourage enough a person's undisciplined lifestyle. I'm from eastern Europe and we are also pretty open about weight like this. Aren't you uncomfortable? Shouldn't you work out more? I hope you lose weight. - It's criticism that means well.
As someone who lives in America, I think the idea of "it's nobody else's business" comes more from a mindset of body positivity, self-acceptance, and mental wellness. We tend to have a very big "do what makes you happy" mantra, but we also do have a lot of weight-related bullying and discrimination that you wont see expressed in these comment threads. I will say that weight loss often is not just about eating less or exercising more, it ties into a lot of mental/emotional health issues like self-love, self-respect and will to live. In my culture(with family from my country), I usually get the type of criticism you're talking about to lose weight, and it's not motivational at all in my opinion. They can actually be quite detrimental. I really had to go through an enormous mental journey that took years itself to get to a place where I wanted to be healthy, and that's when I started losing weight.
I agree with you... I live in America and if you tell someone to lose weight everyone immediately takes it as fat shaming and starts dissing you. It has come to a point that chubby/fat people can criticize anyone elso but no one can say anything about someon that weights more thwn they are supposed to... I honestly feel like society (at least here in the US) is making people that way
I understand him. I think he got traumatised somehow and now coping up with depression by playing. Because I've done that. I sacrificed eating sleeping studying and even talking to anyone because I only feel good when I am playing. And I also know that he can pass this phase. I just hope that his brother learns to understand him deeper and solve his puzzled mentality at the moment. Because trust me when I say nagging won't do anything good.
I can sort of understand him failing to go through with his plans because his brother nags him. *sort of*. My mother gives me extreme anxiety and repeats things that I need to do all day long. She makes them seem like a much bigger deal than they are, which in turn, causes me to fret over them and get frozen with anxiety over them instead of just doing whatever it is I needed to do. She also used threats and put me down alot. An example might be "If you dont get up and get a job you're going to lose your car your phone will be turned off, you'll lose this or that." And she'd also guilt me over my past often saying, "you've been so called 'depressed' for how long now? Some odd years? You're never going to be able to go anywhere in life like that." So you can see where it could be much more damaging to someone to speak to someone like that about their future plans. I moved in with a friend who gave me positive reinforcement all the time, and I became SO successful in achieving set goals in a much shorter time than I EVER did living with my mother.
Okay I’m here to address some concerns on the tittle. And I’m gonna gather comments together to write this post. Please please correct me if I am wrong, there could be different opinions. 1. The part where it says “stupid” it translates to “babo” in Korean. And in Korean babo can mean “you are dumb!” Or it can mean “you are dumb, please get better.” Depends on the tone of of voice, that’s why it’s easy to misunderstand in text. 2. Also when it said “it’s frustrating to look at him”, it doesn’t directly relate to how he looks, it means that when the brother is looking at his brother he feels very frustrated as to why his brother is this lazy and why he’s become like this.
i hope that the older brother will find balance & change & determination to achieve his goals. i know it's hard to change; esp when everyone keeps nagging you & saying things like "you're fat" and such. i think the family seems to really love him though so i hope that they will all help each other to help him out.
I feel sorry for him because I know how hard it is to change. For some people, the more others nag them, the more discourage they feel. Like I make plans and write down my goals, but I never achieve them because I am always discouraged by my peers. I think there is nothing wrong with playing with claw machine cause he's not doing drugs, but he should pay back with his own money and make his own instead of relying on his little bro and his parents. I have a brother like that too, I can see that he wants to change, but it's hard. My brother has improved with the encouragement of the family. Worse comes to worse, his parents should stop helping him to pay off his debts, so that he can learn how hard it is to earn money.
It`s actually really relatable how he ends up spending way more than he can afford. I sometimes binge spend without even noticing and I feel like absolute shit after it, but I can't stop. I do have my mother and sisters that help me when I ask, but I usually hide my depts from them and pay it later (with interests). Some months I actually don't buy anything, but still have over 500 bucks to pay. Don't know if it has anything to do with my depression/anxiety, I just know it's REALLY hard to control and the shittier I feel for spending so much, the more I spend
I bothers me when people say "Don't judge a person just because he/she is fat", "So what, you think I'm fat/skinny?! That's why you're acting like that!", "You're just saying that cause you hate fat people". It's really not like that, I agree that we should accept someone for what she/he looks like, but sometimes you really shouldn't take that as an excuse for being unhealthy. Some people are too skinny and that isn't healthy and some people are too fat, which isn't healthy either. No matter what size you are don't rely on the saying "accept everyone for who and what they look like" because eventually not all people are gonna keep their thoughts on what you look like (not because they're judging you, but ye ik some people are like that) but it's because they're concerned for you and your health. (But yeah i guess some people are only real fat/skinny bc of genetics) So please, try being a better person not only on the outside, but also in the insde
Were they actually able to help those who came on to this show? I mean after all this talk front cam do they talk with a real expert after the show? Coz I would really feel bad if it'd just end like this.
Elie Castro Nope, this is the “counseling” the guests receive. There are a few people who have changed, they are usually shown as a follow-up on the show.
I mean, this is national television. If the people surrounding you have seen you with a problem on the show, that peer pressure could be enough to resolve something that serious. Usually, that peer pressure really is the only thing stopping selfish or depressed people from continuing their unhealthy habits.
There have been episodes where they included real therapists or doctors. Nobody knows what exactly happens behind the scenes, so we can't jump to a definite conclusion.
I felt so bad he looked like he was going to cry like his face turned red with embarrassment. But I think it’s important that he went through this because it will teach him a lesson and he will notice about his health💜👏🏻👍🏻
I really hope he succeed's in playing and eating moderately because he will see change over time and he seems like a nice person. Fingers crossed for things to work out well!!
I was once obese and literally did all these unhealthy habits to myself and eventually get offended when someone try to help me. I mean, it's natural to get offended since in this state, ones are very negative towards themselves and others. Not only this situations frustrates you, people around you also get stress living with someone like this. Honestly, please try to change and get help. It all starts with your efforts to change and eventually people will see your effort and they'll lend a hand. Maybe not all but if you look on the bright side, you'll see the light. So, do not lose hope and be the change you want to be.
I can relate so much to him.... my sister causes my parents so much pain... she refuses to go to school, eats junk food all day and just sleeps and plays games online..... T_T
This is definitely not body shaming. Obesity is something that needs to be addressed. During the early days of quarantine up this day, I gained 15 kgs. I didn't think I would be overweight but when I checked my BMI, I realized that I became indeed overweight. I wouldn't consider myself really fat as most of my clothes still fit but felt kinda tighter lol What I noticed was, I became tired quicker when I do things I used to do so easily like standing for long periods of time, cleaning the whole house, lifting things up etc. The weight I gained really had a change in my mobility. Now, I'm trying to go back to my weight which used to be 53 kgs only.
As a bit fat(not obese thankfully) person I totally don't think it's body shaming. Those who are saying people are body shaming him i think are totally wrong. People think that if a healthy person recommends an obese person to lose weight it's body shaming and get offended which is actually stupid because obesity is not a thing to be proud of. He is obese and he should lose weight (accept it or not). If people are going through diseases such as thyroid, insomnia etc. then it's a different story but if that person doesn't has any disorder then obesity will just lead to a disorder. Even people with disorder should maintain weight because obesity worsens their situation. Obesity is itself considered as a disease and people nowadays take it so lightly that obesity chart has increased over 20% over last the 10 years.
what he's saying is true that some people is hard to lose weight no matter what. for example, me myself, i compare my meals to others and even though i didnt eat as much as them, i still gain weight and be fat while they dont. i think its about the metabolism we have in our body.
We do not know everything about his life and i believe that his situation has something to do with other problems. For example we do not how many friends he has ,also he is single and probably the problem is much deeper that his weight.Sometimes people do not know how to cope with the stress.Maybe if are there people who can listen to him and help him go trough his insecurities and worries he will make it .
Come on he’s already 27. His younger brother care for him but he refuses to take care of himself and keep on scrap money from people and his family. This type of men is not a good husband material.
He's obviously depressed. He needs a real therapist's help. It's too easy for them to just tell him to quit overeating and start exercising. It doesn't work like that. He needs therapy. And he's a serious suicide risk. They just made him feel bad without offering him any real help! Each contestant should be offered free therapy by some business saavy psychotherapy office nearby.
Sometimes i wish they had professionals to help these people but some people need to hear the cold hard truth from strangers instead of kins. But he seems to have very low self esteem and needs someone to be there for him 24/7 to push him in the right direction. Since he has a dedication for the machines, once he sees result in working out, I’m sure he will continue his way. He just needs someone to push or accompany him everyday.
Joy W Tru. They need professional therapists and doctors here. Not just famous comedians and actors . Okay I get that need views but atleast have them on the side so they can give real and useful advice.
Agreed but... real doctors and therapists would be frustrated and won't stick around for long. Or if they understand "show biz" and play along, then they're not real professionals to begin with (in that field), so the point is... meh
pewpewpew Hey if its for money why not??? Also what if every episode theres a new doctor and therapists. Another thing: just cuz they understand showbiz doesnt mean they wont be good at their job. They very much could be
maryam siddiqui honestly are there even real therapists considering the insane stigma against all manor of mental illnesses in South Korea. That's why this show is better than nothing, at least it might serve as a wake up call. You know the stigma is bad also because any mental illnesses get recorded to your profile and job profile forever? That's why lots of Koreans never see therapists at all.
Jimin's Jams Are Best With Suga Kookies and Tae Ahhh thats true. However since the show is already aware of the problems being faced, they can call professionals along regarding the factors. See the thing that kinda makes me frown upon this show is that they really dont help. Not mentally, particularly. The people who go in this show sometimes REALLY need help. Going to therapists and psychiatrists is a good thing. Its healthy and even if you arent disturbed you should still try to go. South Koreans should really try to remove the image brought upon of looking down on those who attend those sessions. And whats better than making them public? Bringing then to this, quite famous, show might help. A show that actually needs them.
anyone keep feeling bad for the older brother and here i am, feeling bad for the younger one. I've been in similar case, keep being the mature one and it's tiring...... I'm really tired to being the one who's take care of everything
I hope the love he has for his brother help him change for the better. Sometimes it seems hard but it will soon pass. I'm in a similar situation and I'm still trying to figure everything out.
This is a concern for me. When I look at a "fat" person my feelings for them are soft and calm (unless their a b*tch to me). I wish for them (if they were once skinny) to face the path of being skinny again. They can do all sorts of things being skinny. If they like being "fat" I respect that. But sometimes I wish they can cut down on some things and eat healthier.
I hope that they both get a normal life doing what the love according to their means, also I didn't know Dindin likes claw machines too and how Park JH was so bothered by it hahahahhhaha
After more than a year i wonder what happened to him now. I wish he got over his addiction to claw machines and is now living a happy, stable and healthier life coz this is just sad :
With some of these stories, does anyone else feel like the person isn’t going to change ever? I don’t sympathy for this guy at all... this is the life he made for himself, which he can still change yet hasn’t.
Most of the commentors are saying things that slightly criticizes this variety show. Yes, I agree what they are not taking the situation/concern seriously. But, have you ever thought that they might do jokes or things to lighten up the mood? Have you tried to kind of take away the tension from a problem you think shouldn't go to far? I think that's what they are trying to do. You or anyone can't say things like this, you're not there to see what happens when the camera shuts off. But I'm mostly concerned about the criticism people are giving that might or might not have them take down the channel/show just because of our hate or anything. If they didn't want to reveal their story to the world then they wouldn't have showed up on there. If they knew that the "counselors" would joke around in this, then they wouldn't be there or present at any time. We shouldn't just guess whether the video will be just the same as always. If you're new and just watched THIS episode/video. You should search up Hello Counselor and watch most of them, and those most of the videos include scenes that made me cry, or probably viewers cry. They only mention what's nonsense to let the person with the problem know that it's not right to continue the same action. We all should sometimes think the way the "counselors" think. "Are they doing this just to embarrass the person?" Yes, No, Maybe. But there's always a maybe in these things. They don't totally go full blown comedy to embarrass them. - sia. 8/18/19
I feel bad; he looks so uncomfortable like he doesn't want to be there. I understand that they want him to "wake up" but from my perspective it seems as if he feels humiliated. (I only watched to 7 mins so maybe it ended on a more comfortable, positive note, but I didn't like watching this one which is why I haven't watched a great deal of it.)
I feel like calling him cowardly in front of everyone and making him feel bad isn't they right way to go. He can still keep playing the claw machines, that isn't the problem. His problem is he doesn't know how to control his money and doesn't know his limits. He can still make videos, play daily and such, but he just needs to fix his bad habits. I actually feel pretty bad for him :/
When you are that heavy. It hinders lifestyle and health in general. I dont mind them concerning about his weight. What i do mind is that Asian culture seem to shame anyone who is a bit overweight. I am 18 years old(163cm) and when I weigh over 50 kg when i hit 16 due to some medication I was told to loose weight. I dont think my weight at that age was something to be concerned over. I know what and how much I should eat. They dont usually shame underweight people, but it does happen sometimes. So what weight is right in their eyes. Some people have an issue with everything. Their mind is infected by the norm or the standard.
I can feel his embarrassment. It's not even funny at this point. How did making fun of him help the situation? These people need actual counselors with a degree

in my opinion, his family and younger brother should stop helping him out. that's when he will learn that he must pay for housing, food, and gaming all by himself...
you see that he can’t afford to live but go for a loan right? and when he can’t pay the loan. it will eventually affect the family anyway..
@@coreycj3911 Yep, loans have to be paid for the family, there are no law protections in that aspect and that's why just one member can ruin an entire family. This is not an easy matter in any way, that's why he needs to grow up and change, I hope he did :)
Gosh he’s 27. At that age people really be paying their parents hard work by helping giving some money or the least is make their heart at ease thinking that their child is doing good in building their own future. But this guy just day dreaming. Thank god for his younger brother made him realised this before he turns 30 in few more years.
please call Choi Youngjae from GOT7 he has the best and positif advise for you guys. you will know and feel that world is beautiful is you spend time with him (actually so many people around him said that) so please he is such the most positif and hard working person. you should at least try to invite him and you will know that he is very very a great person alive and you will be want to know him more 😘🌸💕

Yeah...uri sunshine 💚💚💚
Yes, all of got7 too pls :>
Are you turkish?
please don't call him so we can read this troll account on every video 😊😊😊
I actually love this show...Most times people find it had to say what hurts them out loud they have no one to turn to for advice and at times it's hard to get through to someone no matter how much you try...I think laughing about something that hurts you is away to release your stress.... So I really like this program.... How it brings people together and at the same time give a wider knowledge of things....
The tumbnail attracts me to watch this. Chungha's reaction is on point 😆
I think he is depressed and trying to fill his life with things that take his mind away from his depression. But he is digging a bigger hole in time. I hope he manages to get out of it.
I’m glad I managed to lose half of it but there is still a long way to go ☺️
all i was doing was
playing, sleeping and eating
but when my LITTLE brother told me my life isn't normal and i should change i went to try dancing
and guess what
i really like it i also loved drawing before so i also have art lessons now
i lost weight cuz of dancing and i'm glad i did
my life is much easier
it also felt great to be able walk normal and go outside without being judged
i was really fat when i was 9-10 now i'm 14 and i'm not regretting anything
so i hope it's not gonna offend him but he actually should loose some weight he'll also realize that his life will be easier
i'm sorry if my english is bad
Because people fat shame. and it's actually not just American's, it's all over the world
I'm not offended. You sound offensive against me for no reason.
@@NekomiSon
Yeah I agree
It's not just Americans
And some don't even get offended by the topic 😅

저 기계를 사서 여태 뽑았던 인형 넣고 뽑기하는건 어떤지
He is so emotional i want to hug him 😭

Is anyone else wondering what his RUclips channel is

He's still playing the crane machine
He never said he is going to quit, he is only saying he is going to do it moderately.
i feel bad for the dude. he obviously has a gaming addiction to that machine so he needs professional help.
I like that joon hyun from jyp is there. Really love him since roommate series 😂😂🤩
Totally out of topic but chungha is so cute here 🥰

FINNALY! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS PROGRAM FOR AN AGES
(But yeah i guess some people are only real fat/skinny bc of genetics)
So please, try being a better person not only on the outside, but also in the insde
I think they were really respectful!
The younger brother looks alike Min Kyung-Hoon(Knowing Bros) mix with D.O
Were they actually able to help those who came on to this show? I mean after all this talk front cam do they talk with a real expert after the show? Coz I would really feel bad if it'd just end like this.
Elie Castro Nope, this is the “counseling” the guests receive. There are a few people who have changed, they are usually shown as a follow-up on the show.
They are actually.
@@madrisa4 there are actually experts in the backstage
he seems so helpless and lost in life, i feel for him! i hope he can turn things around
So, do not lose hope and be the change you want to be.
this is the best program FROM FAR
I can relate so much to him.... my sister causes my parents so much pain... she refuses to go to school, eats junk food all day and just sleeps and plays games online..... T_T
Now that I look at it...Din Din’s pretty cute!
He needs to gain his confidence back .. he seems lost and if he keeps doing this it will only go down from here :(
This is definitely not body shaming. Obesity is something that needs to be addressed. During the early days of quarantine up this day, I gained 15 kgs. I didn't think I would be overweight but when I checked my BMI, I realized that I became indeed overweight. I wouldn't consider myself really fat as most of my clothes still fit but felt kinda tighter lol
What I noticed was, I became tired quicker when I do things I used to do so easily like standing for long periods of time, cleaning the whole house, lifting things up etc.
마냥 살찌고 게으르다고 말하기보다는 정신과 상담이 필요한 거 같은데. 이게 병이라는 걸 인정하고 치료를 받아야 될 것 같다.
Omoni chunghaa is soo pretty in this🥰❤😭😍
I can't help but think DinDin and ChungHa looks quite cute together....
I love how no one feeling sorry for him when he starts getting emotional and crying.
The younger brother seems to be more matured than the older brother but I feel bad for the older brother than the younger brother.😒
what he's saying is true that some people is hard to lose weight no matter what. for example, me myself, i compare my meals to others and even though i didnt eat as much as them, i still gain weight and be fat while they dont. i think its about the metabolism we have in our body.
When joon said the claw machine is fake I remember Jackson he also said that 😂😂😂😂😂
We do not know everything about his life and i believe that his situation has something to do with other problems. For example we do not how many friends he has ,also he is single and probably the problem is much deeper that his weight.Sometimes people do not know how to cope with the stress.Maybe if are there people who can listen to him and help him go trough his insecurities and worries he will make it .
Is it bad that I cared more for the older brother?..
Jimin Has no Jams no jimin. im with u. hahahah, i feel sad when the older brother start crying.
ikr he's just too cute :'< and yes when he started crying I feel so sad
Come on he’s already 27. His younger brother care for him but he refuses to take care of himself and keep on scrap money from people and his family. This type of men is not a good husband material.
Well, he is addicted to the claw machine, and he is naïve.
He's obviously depressed. He needs a real therapist's help. It's too easy for them to just tell him to quit overeating and start exercising. It doesn't work like that. He needs therapy. And he's a serious suicide risk. They just made him feel bad without offering him any real help! Each contestant should be offered free therapy by some business saavy psychotherapy office nearby.
hello counselor, i am addicted watching this show. is this a concern?
Fx Mazhar Mash Yes it is! There is this one episode where in the wife complained her husband is addicted watching Hello Counselor.
his eyes are absolutely beautiful
Am I the only one looking for his channel?
Sometimes i wish they had professionals to help these people but some people need to hear the cold hard truth from strangers instead of kins.
But he seems to have very low self esteem and needs someone to be there for him 24/7 to push him in the right direction. Since he has a dedication for the machines, once he sees result in working out, I’m sure he will continue his way. He just needs someone to push or accompany him everyday.
He's not overweight, he's obsessed! He'll die young if he won't start changing soon.
He has to grow up. He needs to work hard to fit in reality Mentally and physically.
for anyone curious, his yt channel is 잠만보뽑기왕.
The older brother is so cute and adorable,,,, don’t judge ♥️
I feel like this show just more and more starts to make fun of the people instead of helping them.
Joy W
Tru. They need professional therapists and doctors here. Not just famous comedians and actors .
Okay I get that need views but atleast have them on the side so they can give real and useful advice.
Agreed but... real doctors and therapists would be frustrated and won't stick around for long. Or if they understand "show biz" and play along, then they're not real professionals to begin with (in that field), so the point is... meh
pewpewpew
Hey if its for money why not??? Also what if every episode theres a new doctor and therapists. Another thing: just cuz they understand showbiz doesnt mean they wont be good at their job. They very much could be
maryam siddiqui honestly are there even real therapists considering the insane stigma against all manor of mental illnesses in South Korea. That's why this show is better than nothing, at least it might serve as a wake up call. You know the stigma is bad also because any mental illnesses get recorded to your profile and job profile forever? That's why lots of Koreans never see therapists at all.
Jimin's Jams Are Best With Suga Kookies and Tae
Ahhh thats true.
Who else tried to find his claw machine videos
Kim Namjoon did you find it???
Let us know if you find it!!
I'm in the comment section to find it out
Not me but I'm dropping a comment as well for this.
Kim Namjoon try to search the title in hangul

Wow I am shocked to see how people saw this as body shaming. Even though I watch it 2or3 times I don't see any bodyshaming.
I thought that was cho won on the tumbnail, so i click it :'' ,i miss her so much
anyone keep feeling bad for the older brother and here i am, feeling bad for the younger one.
To be honest I was really amazed like HOW CAN HE DO THAT IN FIRST TRY I can’t even get one😂 cant help but to clap😂
Dindin so cute 💜
This is a concern for me.
When I look at a "fat" person my feelings for them are soft and calm (unless their a b*tch to me). I wish for them (if they were once skinny) to face the path of being skinny again.
They can do all sorts of things being skinny. If they like being "fat" I respect that.
But sometimes I wish they can cut down on some things and eat healthier.
I always say that someone should lose weight in cases of health and if it's affecting their daily life, not just to look pretty for others.
Joon I love you man your one of the funniest guys i've watched and on roomates S2
I hope that they both get a normal life doing what the love according to their means, also I didn't know Dindin likes claw machines too and how Park JH was so bothered by it hahahahhhaha
DinDin is so cute
the brothers look so different, & i feel bad for the younger brother…
CHUNGHA ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I feel like they should have an actual psychologist on the show and share their thoughts
After more than a year i wonder what happened to him now. I wish he got over his addiction to claw machines and is now living a happy, stable and healthier life coz this is just sad :
With some of these stories, does anyone else feel like the person isn’t going to change ever? I don’t sympathy for this guy at all... this is the life he made for himself, which he can still change yet hasn’t.
am i the only one who noticed that when din-din was saying he should be more open minded, that the friend beside the older brother rolled his eyes?
My brother is also like this. Overweight and stay at home. Sadly there is no show like this here.
- sia. 8/18/19
He’s clearly depressed, but he also manipulates his young brother a lot
claw strength is randomized
the older brother is spouting bs
I love love love claw machines too, But I know that I cant afford to play excessively so I just watch videos on youtube.. I hope he gets over this obsession and start improving himself.. Get out and meet new friends..
They are so focused on the claw machine topic. When they should'vs focused on his lifestyle.
